They also looked at our tankless and tried to charge more than what they quoted to swap it out with a warranty replacement after breaking a part and not finding the real problem until the second tech came out. Sent 3 different techs and each were nice but on the quality of work and charge not acceptable. $2k for a pinhole leak repair, diagnostic fee, and swap out of tankless. Hire at your own risk"

I called Ben Franklin Plumbing late in the afternoon, and they were here first thing the next morning. They gave me the cost to replace the elements and the cost to install a new Bradford White. This time, it made sense to replace it. They were done by noon with a 3-man team of experts. I checked with three big box stores, and although they were slightly less expensive, it was clear they would give their installers, whom I had no idea of, full responsibility.
