"This regards a huge repair job after a pipe burst in our rental condo. It did happen a couple of years ago (December 2014) but it remains in my memory as a truly positive experience. The water destroyed the drywall in several rooms. We contacted Gary through Home Asvisor Handyman for the repairs. He contacted us soon after. When he arrived little did he know we actually had several projects that we needed done so we could sell the condo. Gary listened to our needs and then organized how the projects would be completed. The projects included the drywall repair for the living room, dining room, repair of the pipe that burst, added an access door to the plumbing area where the busted pipe occurred, installed tile flooring in the kitchen, replaced all the cabinets in the kitchen, installed a new kitchen light fixture, organized the replacement of the counter tops, reorganized the kitchen plan so the refrigerator and stove were not side by side, installed a new kitchen faucet and fixed the faucet after a couple of weeks when the interior piece was found to be defective, remodeled th entire bathroom tiling on the floor and walls, installed a new tub and fixtures, replaced the entry door and screen door, replaced all the interior doors, painted the entire place, fixed a longstanding problem for two side by side 8 foot windows by removing them and repairing the woodwork as well as refininshing the walls afterwards (in the middle of winter!--impressive). He helped us make decisions and worked with whatever selections we made in such a timely manner. He was in contact with us throughout the projects and provided us all the receipts, estimates, and final costs for each project that he undertook. He even would send picures as the projects progressed or were completed. He was so easy to work with and we appreciated him and hos work immensely! "Knowledgeable and experienced. Dan did a great job, was efficient and friendly. He was able to correct the damages caused by 2 other "professionals" sent by Angi. Pricing was rather high compared to other quotes to install exterior doors, but you get what you pay for in the end. I learned my lesson the hard way, no worries with Mr Handyman"

We contacted four vendors (two of whom we had used before).  Our install was a bit tricky, and some companies would not even quote the job.  Mike was the most responsive, and gave us the most options.  I researched third party reviews on the product lines he proposed.  All seemed to have good reviews.  This is really hard to find in either windows or sliding doors!  During the sales process he was informative and presented several options, but absolutely no high pressure.  So easy and pleasant to work with. The installer was very professional and really knew what he was doing. 

We are very pleased with both the quality of the door and the installation.  We would not hesitate to use Mike again

"My home was broken into a few days before I was leaving town for business. The front doors could not be secured and are not of a standard size. Kenny did an excellent job of explaining options and worked with me to find a temporary solution that would allow me to leave and feel the house was secure. Custom front doors will be built and installed later. A security door was installed in the back and window bars were installed on the windows --- all of this work was done well and the installers were courteous, pleasant and timely. I will be using Protector Window & Door for the additional work that needs to be done.
NOTE: The N/A rating for price is because I do not have anything to compare to. The N/A rating for quality is because the materials used are mostly temporary --- they are certainly doing the job they are designed for.

"The expert they sent out determined that I had two cracks in my basement wall. Other vendors said I would need a interior water drain system installed. Stay Dry fix the problem for a fraction of the cost."

"Arrived on time and were both cordial and professional.  Worked diligently calking around windows and doorwalls (I would suggest that they also calk on top  window frames and doorwalls - those areas seemed to be omitted).  I had large gaps around steel door to garage that they spent extra time replacing door strikes and making adjustments so that the door shut tightly against the newly installed weatherstripping and installed door sweep - tightest the door has been since I had the home built.  They made additional suggestions that would increase the efficiency for energy use, because of the type of work that I do I knew that they were on target with their suggestions and pricing.  I heartily endorse this company.
