Small jobs welcome

"Sprinkler Doctors responded to my initial request quickly, and based on the information they recommended a 1-hour system check and not a complete change-out as I thought I wanted/needed. So I set up a system check. Mark arrived on time and we walked through the system. In that 1-hour span, he fixed the valve, corrected two leaks including capping an old line, , reran a drip line, discussed other irrigation system ideas/limitations, and tested all the work. Instead of spending $500+ it was all fixed for $85. Mark was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company."

"It went well. It was a delight to work with Masterscapes and their professional crew. Everyone was flexible and communicated each step of the project from the office staff to the job supervisor. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new pool, pool remodel, or landscaping. Kim F"

Customers say: Quality work

"The work was done properly. However the cost was very high in my opinion. Three workers showed up at 7:00AM and completed the job at 2:00 PM. That is a total of twenty-one man hours of work. Materials cost between $200 and $300 leaving a total of $2,700 for labor. Thus the cost per man/hour was $129.00. That seems high to me for this type of labor. If you don't mind paying that much for this type of work that is fine. However, I think you might be able to get the same quality work for quite a bit less"

"Due to an issue with my in ground sprinkler system that was causing all my pipes to shake and irregular water pressure, I tried to find reputable companies who could fix the issue. I first called another Angie's List company who indicated that they couldn't even come out to estimate the job until 2 weeks. I then called SOS Sprinkler Repair. While they were very busy, the scheduler indicated she would have someone there to look at the problem and assess what was needed for repair ASAP. Upon looking at my issue, the service man indicated that it was an easy fix and suggested that either he could do the repair or I could do it for even less money. Since they were busy with much bigger issues for other people and once he explained how to fix the issue, I knew that I could do the repair myself. Really appreciated his professionalism and honesty -- and they even saved me money! Will use this company again if needed for a repair I can't do myself. Thank you for being a reputable and responsive company."

"This is the 2nd time I've used H&K.  I called last minute due to a leak that developed in our irrigation system.  He showed up that day and replaced the line and back flow device that was incorrectly installed by a landscaper.  After a neighbor woke us up about water pouring out of the system and a small pond it had created, everything is now fixed and working as planned.  H&K had previously replaced a leaky faucet outside and checked on a lack of hot water when we moved into our new house in April.  Good service, prompt, professional.  I recommend them. <br>"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Wickenburg, AZ

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
