"I didn’t just get 1 person, I got 3 working on my projects since he came with his 2 brothers which made the project go much faster. I had an idea about what I wanted but he helped design the deck and added beautiful details to make it look better then I had imagined! They worked straight through the heatwave we unfortunately were hit with right on the dates my deck construction was scheduled for, and though I would have understood if they had said they needed to push back the project until the heat wave broke, they just came earlier in the morning each day to be able to still complete the work within the time I had been told! Very impressive. They also stayed true to the price they originally quoted me even though once getting into to project realized that it was going to take a lot more work since the parts of the old deck which they thought could be reused actually needed to be completely redone from scratch… which they said was not my fault so they were not going to change the jobs cost after it had been agreed to, which I thought was very honorable and refreshing. I am very pleased with the final results and absolutely am happy to suggest them for any deck work you might need. They also cleaned up after themselves and were very attentive to the details I wanted them to match to the original houses look. My home was built in 1880 and I wanted it not to look like a random addition but part of the original plan. They did a great job!"

"Mike came out and did an estimate for a wall removal for me. He answered the phone when I called (very rare for contractors) and we scheduled an estimate a few days later. At the estimate, he was extremely knowledgable and thorough, but was a little gruff. He also emphasized everything that could go wrong and added that in. This could be a good and bad thing. He gave me a ballpark number and left the property saying that he would follow up with a quote. But I didn't hear from again after that. Ultimately his estimate was a lot higher (about 5-10 times higher) than other contractors and his overall design of what it was going to look like in the end, didn't fit what I wanted. So we ultimately did not go with Teagno."

Our first meeting was held at their office to discuss the basic process that would be used in the construction phase. I signed a non-refundable 'Pre-Construction Deposit Agreement' in the amount of $1200.00. The Barron and Jacobs lead-man, Chris, visited our home a number of times to assess the scope of the task as well as his electrician and plumber. Chris then prepared a very detailed cost estimate for the project. Unfortunately the estimate far exceeded what I was willing to invest in this room. I had previously heard Barron and Jacobs performed outstanding work but some-what expensive. From previous projects in which I've been involved I learned quality work does come at a premium. "HWD did a great job. It helped us to select a new door, fitted it to the space, stained the door, and repainted the trim. Tile in entryway was added to cover the gap from the old door. The door is beautiful, great quality, and really enhances the entryway to our house. Zinnia and the carpenter and painter were very nice and did a great job. We have used the services of HWD for many years, starting when we bought our house nine years ago. Projects ranged from a complete kitchen overhaul, new tile and bathtub, new slate and stone floors to painting and roofwork. We highly recommend HWD."

"We hired a contractor in June of 2016 who worked all summer renovating our home. October 13th was when he walked off the job and left us with unfinished work. Many attempts to reach him failed. One week before Christmas we were blessed to find Keith from Creative Remodeling Solutions. Keith returned our call and came right over to give us an estimate and he understood our predicament. The other contractor had left us high and dry with the 2nd floor bathroom ceiling torn down and we were losing all our heat which was costing us money. Keith was willing to start in two days so he could insulate the ceiling as to prevent loss of heat. Not only did Keith do a professional job in finishing the bathroom, Keith was able to remedy a wall that the plumbers didn't match the new tub and enclosure to properly. Not only was Keith our lifesaver, he was understanding, courteous, worked quickly and kept us informed of his progress. Keith did an excellent job and we are happy to say we will hire him again. In fact I'll be contacting him tomorrow now that all the wood floors are done and we need to have the trim work done in all our rooms. Our only regret is that we didn't find him before we hired the first contractor who didn't finish the job."
