"After receiving the recommendation from Home Adviser and was contacted by Craig from American Appliance i explained to him my problem getting my Daughters oven repaired by another company that responded, charged her for a service call, and told her he would contact her when her part is received, needless to say he never called back. When I talked to Craig I explained to him our problem and what the other company had found to be the potential problem. I gave Craig the manufacture and model number of the range and he researched the part and called me back that it could be the problem, but instead of coming out to Va. Beach and charging a service call he would order the part and when it comes in make an appointment. When the part was received Craig made the appointment and showed up on time, explained that he wanted to diagnosis the oven to make sure the relay board was indeed the problem because if he installed it and it was not the problem he cannot return it. Craig and Mike replaced the defective board and fixed the oven. Thanks and will use American Appliance again if I ever need any of my appliances repaired."

"I had a great experience with Mr. Eddie Watkins, the owner of this company. After I accidentally damaged my TV, I hesitated for four months about getting it fixed because I didn't know how much it would cost. I'm sorry that I waited so long to call a repair person because my experience with Mr. Watkins was great.  He was able to come to my house on the same day that I called, which was very convenient.  When he didn't arrive or call 30 minutes after the appointment time, I had to call him to make sure he was still coming.  He was delayed at a previous appointment, which I didn't mind, but I would have appreciated him giving me a call to let me know.  This is why I gave him a B in punctuality.  Once he arrived at my house, Mr. Watkins diagnosed the problem and repaired the TV efficiently and quickly. He was careful with the handling of the TV and use of tools inside my house.  Overall, I was very satisfied with the at-home service and quality of the work and would recommend Mr. Watkins for TV repair services.

"I was able to schedule an appt very quickly the initial time and the electrician, Danny, communicated with both myself and my tenant, as it was a rental property and arranged a time to stop by that was good for my tenant. The outlet suddenly started working before Danny arrived so when he got there he explained to me that he just made some minor repairs since he didn't know what to do because it wasn't broken at the time. About 10 days later, my tenant called and said that the outlet malfunctioned again. I contacted the company and explained to the person (whom I assume is the owner or manager) what happened and he contacted Danny and was able to get him out shortly after. Danny said he replaced the breaker for me as well as did some other things, which I was kind of lost due to the jargon. Anyway, they said that there will not be a charge the second time, which I really appreciate. Overall, great communication from both the manager/dispatcher as well as the technician, Danny. And they seem like they really wanted to help me resolve the situation as opposed to milking me for more money. This type of honesty in any business is a rarity nowadays."
