Once leak was discovered we immediately stopped using the furnace. Can't say enough about the Christian team. They didn't try to sell me a product i didn't need. They were extremely responsive to my initial call. The company also let me borrow two space heaters so that my house wouldn't freeze until the installation date. The installation itself went well with no major issues. Before leaving the installers went over all of the work completed and gave me a quick training on the new digital thermostat.

However based on various options quoted and online prices for the same heater model, it seems that the premium for same-day service and 6 yr warranty on the labor and miscellaneous parts was over $500! If I were to do it over again, I think I could have survived a week without hot water and would have ordered my own heater. As it was, the labor (and overhead?) would calculate out to ca. $300/hr."
