"I contacted JA drywall to work on some popcorn ceilings for me. Josh was very responsive and arrived on time to give me an estimate. To his credit, he did inform me that his estimate would probably be higher than other estimates I would receive. I decided to go with Josh because I felt he was honest, how he communicated with me and because he was available via telephone. Unlike other drywall contractors, who did not show up or were very flaky with the communication. Josh started the work on time and finished when he said he would be complete. Josh did a great job with my ceilings. The drywall was installed, taped, and sanded. I was very impressed with the work they did and I would absolutely hire him again. If you’re looking for drywall to be completed, Contact Josh and then call other companies and you’ll see the difference in communication. A+ in my book."

"Trevor came out with another guy (I forgot his name) and they were awesome! Any time I had a question. I can call them and get a quick response. I didn’t fully understand how my unit worked at first so I had to contact Bill (who is just as awesome) Trevor came right over. I’m loving my unit and will recommend them to anyone who need a new unit or their old unit fixed. I was able to trust them in my house without me being there and they clean up behind themselves. I had some other work done at my home by other companies and Universal Air is by far THE BEST!!! Thankful so much guys!! People. "A+! THIS IS HOW SERVICE CALLS SHOULD ALL GO! I was given a service window between 9:00 and 11:30 am. To my delight, Eyal, the technician from Aviv Appliances arrived at 9:25. After explaining the problem, he immediately diagnosed the problem of a clogged condensation drain line, showed me where the problem was, what was causing it. He fixed the problem and offered a simple remedy to prevent future occurrences and the need for a service call. Additionally, the dishwasher was leaking during operation, and I was worried that the seal or gasket had gone bad. The technician diagnosed the problem as a dirty spray head and that the way dishes were loaded blocked the spray rotation. He cleaned and reset the part, returned it to its place and showed what to look out for in the future. The technician also offered tips for routine maintenance to optimize performance and cleaning. I have dealt with a variety of technicians in the past, some even replaced parts unnecessarily and charged for the "extra" labor. All I was charged today was the $99 minimum service charge I was quoted over the phone when making the appointment. I will not need service on these appliances any time soon, but his honesty, professionalism and willingness to offer advice left no doubt in my mine who I am going to call next time for any appliance service. The name of the technician who came out was Eyal."

"Hector was great! He immediately texted me and gave me a very competitive price for the job. He set up an appointment in 2 days, showed up on time and did an amazing job. He even ran to home Depot because I didn't have all the hardware necessary. I would definitely recommend hiring this company for any handyman services you need. "It went pretty well. My house didn't get any warmer, because I discovered that I needed windows.  For some reason, they couldn't tell me that I needed windows. I put some plastic over some of the windows, and the change was almost instant. I would have rather put the money I spent for the insulation into putting in new windows. They were professional, and they did a good job. They just missed that I needed windows instead of insulation."

"I signed the roof contract. The work was scheduled. About an hour prior to the worker arriving, I got a call from C asking for a deposit. I explained that no one told me a deposit was required. The contract also did not mention a deposit--even in the large amount of small print at the bottom. I refused to give the deposit and stated that once the work was done, and it was a job of just several hours, I would immediately pay the ENTIRE amount. C continued to insist on the deposit or she was going to cancel the job for the day. She called me back several times to argue her point. Finally I told her, if the worker does the job TODAY, you will get all of your money, but if you continue with this deposit nonsense I am done with you. I also told her that her behavior resulted in the company losing the gutter job. The worker arrived. He did a good job. I was very happy with his work. There would be an A rating, except for C's behavior. The contract stated that the company was keeping left-over material. The worker did not take it. I told them on the phone when I paid that it was available outside my garage. After 2 weeks I got rid of it. I hired this company because the estimator found all of the places where shingles were damaged, so good work there. Guys from two other companies wrote contracts that did not include all of the damage. They must not have look carefully. I could see the damage with binoculars. I don't understand why C had to create a problem where none existed. I always conduct business with a written contract. When you have a written contract, nothing outside the contract exists--there are no verbal add-ons. Do not want to deal with people who do not behave in a professional manner."

"I called Wesley in April for an estimate  and he promply returned my call and came to the house.   His estimate was middle of the pack and we believe very fair.  We originally shot for a June date, but with all of the rain, they didn't start until July 14th and that week worked Monday - Saturday.  They returned the following week for a day or two to finish up.  His crew was here every day by 8AM and were vey professional, accommodating and skilled.  The house is large and all brick.  They painted all the window trim, soffits, front and back porches, shutters and end gables.  They power washed, repaired all of the rotted wood on shutters and porch pillars, primed and painted.  That I know of, Wesley himself was only here one day for a few minutes, but he touched base often and we were confident in the work that his crew did.  The house looks stunning and the work is near impeccable.
