My worst nightmares came true and we got bed bugs after purchasing our first home in south Philadelphia. I gave Dave a call as soon as we had our suspicions about the infestation to see what we should do. From the beginning Dave was patient with my anxiety and answered ever single question I could think of. He shared a lot of information with us about how he would address the problem as well as explained the bugs' habits. Knowing a little more about the bed bugs and how they behave really helped us feel more in control and gave us a little hope that we could get through this. His service came with a 6 month warranty and also had an option to upgrade to a 1 year warranty for an additional $100: which we thought was a great deal. We ofcourse opted for the year warranty and that warranty has really given me a lot of peace of mind.
I won't lie, the whole bed bug experience was horrible: I can't explain the stress and exhaustion that comes with feeling unsafe and gross in your own bed! Dave was SO WONDERFUL despite the horrible situation. He answered every single one of my calls (Or called me back right away) during the 2 months that we dealt with this problem: and I called him a lot with questions and worries. He took a lot of time to explain what a treatment was, or how long it needed to work as well as other solutions we could try on our own to help alleviate the stress of waiting for the treatment to finally kill all the bugs. His team came a total of 3 or 4 times to put down a variety of treatments. He always sent someone out as soon as it was clear the last treatment hadn't worked. His guys were always on time, very professional and friendly and willing to explain what they were doing. Bed bugs are a difficult problem to get rid of, and I was terrified we wouldn't get past the problem, but Dave was always confident that we would be able to beat them, and we did!
We are BED BUG FREE and have been for a little over a month now. I am so grateful for his sense of urgency, professionalism, and patience. I will always use Dave Bilyk Exterminators for all of my pest problems. (But hopefully I don?t have many more!)
