"I INTERVIEWED NUMEROUS COMPANIES OVER THE COURSE OF SEVERAL YEARS IN AN EFFORT TO FIND SOMEONE THAT COULD CLEAN THE EXTERIOR OF MY HISTORIC STONE HOUSE WHICH HAD GENERAL ENVIRONMENTAL DIRT, AS WELL AS NUMEROUS PAINT DRIPPINGS ACCUMULATED DURING YEARS WORTH OF SLOPPY PAINTING OF THE WOOD TRIM. ONLY DEGRUCHY MASONARY AND RESTORATION HAD A SOLUTION THAT WOULD EFFECTIVELY CLEAN THE STONE WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE. I ALSO NEEDED MORTAR WORK AND THEY WERE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT UTILIZED THE QUALITY TYPE OF MORTAR AS WAS ORIGINALLY USED IN BUILDING THE HOUSE. "We purchased a Fantasy Brown hard marble countertop a little over two years ago from Absolute Marble and Granite. They did an excellent job and were very reasonable. I recently contacted Luu Phan about touching up some blemishes I caused. He was very helpful and also sent Mike to my house to help remedy it. As others have mentioned he is very busy but will work as long as needed to get the job done right (our 45sq/ft job ended up being a bit more involved once old tile was removed). Will upload photos once grout is sealed and buffed in a couple days."

"I would only change one thing. We selected a River Bordeau granite. I would have had the river "flow" in a different direction on some of our countertops. I wish Cosmos had visualization software so that we could actually see how it would be laid out before it was cut. It looks fantastic! Don't get me wrong but it is Cosmos's vision and not ours. I would have liked to have more control via better visualization. Other than this, our experience with Cosmos was excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, responsive and timely. <br /> <br />When getting countertops with a design, do be sure you fully understand how the stone will be cut and laid out. Do look for sales and special pricing, especially if you are interested in a high level stone. Do educate yourself on how granite is sold. Do check out Cosmos. You won't be disappointed."
