The "cheaper" work ended up being unsatisfactory, incomplete and more expensive. To finish the work that should have been originally done, I found Solid Surface on Angie's List and liked the reviews. I contacted Dean, who saw what was needed, made suggestions, agreed on a price which was very reasonable, and he and his son came on one day to do the sealing and then came again on to install the back splash.
