"Fence was to go on a sloped yard and was through a wooded area that had some obstacles. Mark's team was able to avoid obstacles and build the fence per our discussed plan. Project came out looking great. Very easy to work with."

"Bill is awesome to work with. He came when he said, finished the project quicker than we anticipated, and the quality is unmatched. The pricing is very competitive as well. If you need a fence, I wouldn’t call anyone else and I’ll recommend this company to anyone in the future that asks."

"The Fence Work team did an excellent job replacing two portions of our wood fence and creating a double gate on one side and a single gate on the other. It all went very well and we definately would hire them again."

"Don repaired where possible and replaced where needed. He showed up on time, finished when he said he would and charged what he estimated. He also presented the material cost to demonstrate that he did not make a profit on material cost. Don was professional in every way.

"We had an excellent experience getting a new roof with JTC about six years ago, and to be fair I meant to jump on and write a very positive review then. However, we've since had some serious water damage along one section of eaves / soffit, to the point where we've now had water run down through our wall/flooring and into our HVAC ducts. I've emailed twice and called but haven't gotten any response at all. At this point, I'll try someone else, but I did have a very positive initial impression and would have thought that JTC would have at least come out to take a look at the problem for me."

FAQs for chain link fence repair or alter projects in Wilsons Mills, NC

Installing a concrete reinforcement slab significantly boosts the stability and longevity of your chain link fence. This reinforcement creates a strong foundation that protects the fence from erosion, burrowing animals, and high winds. The installation cost is $4 to $10 per square foot, and this robust base minimizes the need for future repairs while extending the overall lifespan of your fence.

Repairing minor damage such as small holes is far more cost‑effective than replacing significant portions of your chain link fence. Minor repairs cost between $100 and $200, while replacing full sections demands an investment of $1,000 to $2,000. For a fence that is 20 years old or older, having an expert assess it now can prevent repeated repair expenses and secure long‑term durability, thereby safeguarding overall fence performance.

If you'd rather remove your chain link fence than repair or replace it, professionals charge between $3 and $5 per linear foot for the job. There may be additional costs involved if there is extra labor needed, like relocating plants or separating the chain-link fence from other existing structures. This also does not include waste disposal fees.

Chain link fences have an average lifespan of 20 years with regular cleaning and maintenance. They stand out as one of the most affordable and durable fencing options available to homeowners and businesses alike. Chain link fences often last five to 10 years longer than comparable wooden fence installations. Chain-link fences made with a vinyl coating often exceed these estimates, providing even greater longevity and weather resistance.
