"Louis took on a repair he was not familiar with, He figured it out to a successful finish. The job involved rebuilding the base of a recliner. He was very professional and it was a pleasure to have him in our home."

"Handyman Carpentry came through for me and my family! Our door was kicked in and I needed to feel safe immediately. Mr. Kevin came through with a fast response, and great work. He kept in contact throughout the entire time! Reasonable and fair pricing. This was an emergency for me and Mr. Kevin and his squad came through. We will definitely be calling on him again for more carpentry and home improvement jobs! Thank you and I pray nothing but growth and success for you and your business!!"

"John did an excellent job refacing our cabinets. He pays very close attention to detail and made sure we were 100% satisfied. He even came back to repair damage made by another worker on a different job and only charged for parts. He is very polite and genuinely cares about his customers. I highly recommend Premier Cabinet Solutions."

"I had some cabinets that were purchased at UB before I bought my home, but installed by another contractor. There were several problems with the installation which I originally thought was performed by UB. I contacted UB and discovered they did not perform the poor installation, but they still sent guys over to repair the cabinets. Everyone I worked with there was knowledgeable and responsive and the cabinets have looked/worked great since.

"It went great. The initial consultation was very thorough, and we were presented a number of options for redoing the shower. After we chose our options, communication wrt scheduling the work was outstanding. The workers were prompt, professional, and thorough. The result is very satisfying. The price was very much on the high side of the other bids we got, but I guess you get what you pay for."

FAQs for cabinets repair projects in Wimberley, TX

The timeframe for kitchen cabinet removal varies significantly based on quantity and installation complexity. Professional contractors typically complete standard kitchens within 4 to 8 hours, though complicated configurations involving plumbing or electrical components may extend to 1 to 2 days. Homeowners tackling this as a DIY project should allocate substantially more time—often 1 to 3 full days—as careful extraction requires methodical work to prevent property damage.

Kitchen cabinets can indeed be salvaged for reuse when removed carefully. Construction material significantly impacts success rates—hardwood cabinets generally survive extraction better than composite materials, which tend to chip or break. For optimal preservation, document the original layout, remove doors and hardware first, then methodically detach units from walls and adjacent cabinets. Professional removal significantly increases the likelihood of successful cabinet preservation.

Disposal options for kitchen cabinets depend largely on their condition and your local waste management regulations. Cabinets in reasonable condition might find new homes through donation centers or online marketplaces. For damaged units, professional waste removal services offer convenience, while dumpster rentals provide flexibility for larger projects. Some municipalities offer special collection services for bulky items, though advance scheduling is typically required.

Wall damage during cabinet removal represents a legitimate concern for many homeowners. The risk varies based on installation methods—cabinets attached directly to drywall without backing supports pose greater challenges than properly mounted units. Professional removal minimizes damage through specialized techniques and appropriate tools. Even with careful extraction, expect some minor wall repairs. Older installations and homes with plaster walls require particularly delicate handling to prevent significant damage.
