I just didn’t feel like he had a lot of experience but he was here quite awhile, inside and outside the home. Jeremiah said they charged $299 and no mileage fee, but did not mention that the two tests to see if it was black mold would be $700! That was upsetting but you were stuck because you had paid $300 for him to come out. It took a while to get tests back but that wasn't their fault. Just wish we hadn't been blindsided, but otherwise very reliable."

Of the three companies replying, Indoor Doctor was able to send a tech out the same day to perform inspections, testing and provide answers to my many questions. The tech was very professional, courteous, etc. Indoor Doctors provided an initial quote of $199 for the visit, which only covers the visit and inspection. They break down the separate fees for each test beyond the $199 inspection. There is a separate charge for each sample test. Mold test and allergen test from the same location are considered two tests and charged accordingly. Their pricing was competitive. Their ability to come out the same day was what sold us on Indoor Doctor. "

"Overall it went pretty well. <br /> The guys showed up a bit late and arrived with 2 fewer guys than originally indicated. When the foreman saw the job he was concerned that he needed the two other guys and whether they would be able to complete the job the same day. <br /> My unit is on top of the space with asbestos but they assured me that there was no risk and that they would seal the ceiling. <br /> By 12:30, they finished the job which seemed exceptionally fast and left me slightly concerned that they hadn't sealed everything completely during the removal.  <br /> During the process, they also accidentally broke the clamp holding the ground wire down to the water meter but luckily I noticed it the following day. <br /> Finally, they forgot to remove all the protective elements as there was still a piece of plastic covering the window that they had put, which again left me concerned about their thoroughness.  <br /> Still they did a quick job and for a good price and the air quality test they performed shows that the area was safe. <br /> They are often difficult to communicate with - full voice mail - no email reply - but they got the job done and now the building is asbestos free. <br />"

"Dave came by and tested for mold with this cheap test kit. He tested with my test kit even though he didn&amp;#39;t think they were an accurate method. He proceed to do his own thorough assessment and did not see any signs of mold. When he concluded his visit without charging me anything! And that is so unusual these days! A+"

The first time through, they remediated textured paint on our ceilings and closets; the second pass, they gutted all the exterior walls, which had asbestos-containing dry wall joint compound, and they did so without damaging the ceiling. Green Home solutions came out the next day, and Chris, the inspector, took a look at the interior walls and the perimeter. Since there were no visible signs, he wasn't concerned and suggested that we first purchase a dehumidifier and remove the mulch that was coming on very high and close to the foundation. And to call again if those efforts did not make the smell go away, and only then would they do an air quality test which goes for a few hundred dollars. Green Home Solutions isn't out for a quick buck -- it would rather have long-standing relationships. Hope their initial recommendation works, and would certainly recommend these folks to friends with mold concerns in their homes."
