We replaced the buckling section with ceramic tile “rug” and repaired the adjacent section We were extremely satisfied with Zavala flooring throughout the entire process. "I called approximately 8 PM the night I noticed I had a problem. I had a leaking valve that was spraying water all over the basement area. When I called Bob he answered his cell phone. That in itself is amazing. I explained the problem to him. He walked me through how to shut off my water to the house, also how to take a very quick shower in the morning and what to do with the leaking pipe during that time. He said he would be at the our house at 7:30 the next morning. He called me to advise he would be 10-15 minutes late. He arrived when he said he would with two men. They replaced and updated what needed to be done. They were efficient, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend Glenoak. He didn't try to sell me anything more than I needed.

"We had a great experience with Granite Works. We contracted our countertop work on July 28th. We feel very fortunate to have met Art. He is very professional and not a high pressure sales person.  He was more of a designer and he took us out to the slab yard helping us find slabs that matched our kitchen design and equally important budget.. We were able to use their sample cabinet materials and coordinate them with the slabs, colors, movement and patterns.  He advised us on the best cuts, edgings, care, etc. Once we selected the granite within a few minutes, Art presented us with an estimate on the spot.  We placed a 50% deposit and the next day the office assistance called us to schedule our on site template. The template process was easy and thorough. It is very helpful if you take your kitchen photos with you and your detailed measurements.  That way your estimate is accurate and Art can help you with balancing movement, appropriate area for seams, if any.  Granite works provided the granite, onsite measurements, sink options, bull nose edging and included all cut outs, plus an Angie's List discount. Our price was $2500 less than a company in  the Mt. Airy. Within a week we had a template completed, in two weeks the fabrication of 2 slabs, and the installation of occurred on  August 9th. In 1 day! We elected to forego their 4" backsplash option and we designed and installed our own. Art's design consultation was very helpful.  After we finished 1/2 the backsplash we sent Art a thank you email with a photo.  He was so surprised and we were surprised and happy 1) he remembered us, and 2) he liked our natural stone tile work.  We recommend Granite Works for quality, professionalism and price.  Good luck and thanks Angie's List.
