"If we could give six stars, we would. Our kitchen contractor works with several high end cabinet stores, but he told us that if we really wanted to get exactly what we wanted, we needed to go with a custom cabinet maker (which he said would cost about 10% more), and he recommended John Valentine of Roselle Custom Woodwork. From the beginning, John was a delight to work with. He offered suggestions based on his experience, but he listened carefully to what we wanted and never insisted that his approach was better unless he had good reason to do so. When he came to our place for a final review before committing to a definitive design, a design consultant with whom we have been working joined us and we had a wonderfully collaborative, highly productive brainstorming session. John got started almost as soon as we signed off on the project, was flexible with interim adjustments (which included a visit to his shop when the cabinets were mostly completed), and was done several weeks before our contractors were ready to begin the demolition. (The speed of completion was a bonus that we hadn't even appreciated at the beginning; we have friends who began a kitchen renovation after we did - unfortunately for them they didn't consult with us beforehand - and they won't have their cabinets until November!) John, his partner Steve and John's son came last week to install the cabinets, and they are exactly what we wanted, top quality materials, beautifully finished, built with pride."

"Our 25+ year old kitchen was getting pretty shabby and worn and really needed a complete gut and rebuild. I wanted a company that would do the full design/build process as I felt rather intimidated and overwhelmed by the project. After meeting with several companies, my husband and I chose Masters Kitchen and Bath. Joe Spina and Jennifer DiMeo helped us through the whole design process and product selection and were a pleasure to work with. They came up with a way to squeeze extra room out of the existing space to allow for a peninsula, something we really wanted. Zeljko was a one-man show during the construction part of the project. He arrived every morning with a smile, and did *everything* - tile work, electrical work, lighting, appliance installation, flooring, you name it - he did it and did it exceptionally well. Having Zeljko bring our kitchen to life was such a thrill and I'm so happy with how everything turned out. As with any construction job, there are always surprises but Zeljko always found a way to solve any problem. He always checked in with us to answer any questions he had or make any necessary decisions. He answered all our own questions as well and addressed any concerns we had during the process. The constant communication was really important and is what helps make a project successful. Masters also stands by their work with a five year warranty. We did have to ask them to come back for a minor repair to some caulking and Masters sent Z within 48 hours to take care of it. Lots of companies are there for you before you finish paying them. It takes a great company to be there down the road a bit. I would highly recommend Masters Kitchen and Bath - and Zeljko!"
