"From the time if the initial estimate to the installation, everything went smoothly. I decided to change to a metal roof because I was renovating the room that has a low slope rubber roof and have had several leaks. I was not about to add insulation and a new ceiling and have to deal with a potential for leaks. Thus, I felt a metal roof would be the best option. Because I only have 2 X6 with no attic  I decided to add foam board insulation to the roof deck and Dave gave me a fair price. I'm glad I added the foam board to deck and it gives me extra pitch too. Dave upgraded the ice and snow membrane at no extra charge. The workers were great and they stayed late to ensure that the roof was sealed before they left because there was a chance of showers. Additionally, they sealed all of my roof penetrations on the rest of my house and  fixed some shingles had a previous leak without me asking at no charge! Wow what service.

Craftsmanship is top shelf and my wife and I couldn't be happier with the results. It's not a given that you find friendly, capable professionals to do a major project, but we found it with JJC Roofing. We will definitely call them back for another job next year. "We contracted in late December for Roofing Inc. to install a new Interlocking Roof. Once we finalized the deal it took about 2 weeks to have the materials delivered and work to begin. On the first day of the project the front of the house was stripped of the old roof material and about 1/4 of the new roof installed. We were impressed that there was very little refuse in the yard and the amount of work that was accomplished on the first day. Of course everything can't go right with any project, in conversing with the crew chief I did not mention that we live about 14 miles from everywhere. Also the salesman did not inform him either. We were unable to be here for the first day and when we did speak with the crew chief, he said that they nearly ran out of gas and did not have lunch the first day. We felt really bad about that but that set back did not effect the professionalism or diligence of the crew. On the second day they completed the installation of the front roof, removed the old roof on the rear and prepared the bare unlayment to weather the rain due the next day. We weathered the storm with no leaks. Thursday brought the sun and our new roof. It looks great and the craftsmanship is excellent. i would recommend Roofing inc and the Interlock roof for anyone that is looking for a roof that will last a lifetime."

"Mr. Hargrove was very responsive and professional.  We contacted 2 other companies and never really got any response from either of them.  Mr. Hargrove was on time for every meeting or contact, and never failed to return calls promptly.  We agreed to pay half up front, and when we accidentally mis-dated the check, he drove about 45 minutes to meet us halfway to get him a new one, which he then used to buy the materials.  During the second day of work on the roof, rain interrupted progress, and they covered up what was unfinished, to resume the following day, when they finished.  They did a pretty good job of cleanup, which was made much more difficult by the amount of leaves that had fallen around the house - it would have been very hard to find the small fragments of shingles and nails all those leaves.  I later was able to blow both the small scraps along with the leaves out of the plant beds and into the woods.  I did find a few nails, but again it was nearly impossible to find them until the leaves were blown away.  The work crew was polite and professional.  I felt the price was a little higher than expected, but we did use high-grade stain-resistant shingles, and overall I felt the value received was good.  The new roof has yet to experience rain, but it looks tight and solid and I do not anticipate any leaks.  The shingles look good and are noticeably higher quality than the ones we replaced.  Mr. Hargrove pointed out to me several places where they had applied extra sealant to ensure that vent joints and other potential sources of leaks were well-sealed and should not cause problems.

"Care and Repair was excellent to work with from estimate to completion. They were not the least expensive bid that we received but we felt confident after meeting with them that we would receive the best quality service and we were not disappointed! They were punctual, completed the job in a timely manner and informed us when they found additional problems during the repair BEFORE completing the project so that we were aware of additional costs.
We would definitely recommend them and use them in the future.

"The service person who came was very informative and did a great job. Found out microwave was going to be replaced. Choice gave me a small amount of money to replace the microwave and Choice will not install it for me, kind of upset with this however I will continue to have Discussions for the replacement value!!!"

The damaged subflooring replacement went quite well (an A Rating on this). The faucet installation was also okay, but the rest of our experience with Mr. Saunders was not very satisfactory. He frequently stopped work on our project to tend to other ones. That is not unusual up here, but I almost always had to call him before he would come back, which led to about two months of living with our furniture displaced. Another problem was that his assistant cracked the new light covering. Mr. Saunders did offer to replace it, but by that time there had been so many delays, I told him not to bother since it was not all that noticeable.



Mr. Saunders also lost professionalism points with me because he constantly complained about things, such as the amount of dust he found under the old carpeting and the number of staples used in the subflooring of our manufactured home.  Then after telling us we had to be extra careful about cleaning up the dust or the vinyl would not lay properly, he and his assistant did not remove the staples and did a sloppy job of leveling the subflooring before laying down the vinyl. Again, as with the light cover, I just decided to give up and get him out of our home.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
