"My concrete walkway attached to the stoop on the side of my house was cracked. Originally I wanted the stoop and the walkway replaced. Of the 4 offers I received, Rigo Ortez was the first person who recommended against that as the stoop was attached to the house and still in very good condition. He was actually concerned that tearing it off might cause issues with the foundation. Rather he suggested back filling under the stoop and attaching the new walkway to the stoop using rebar. While his offer wasn't the lowest price it also wasn't the highest and his guidance on the stoop was appreciated. Ultimately that is the reason I went with his company. They were flexible and came out on my schedule, had MISS-Utility mark off the lines, and completed the work on-time and on-budget. Everything looks great."

"The work I asked JP General Construction to undertake was the demolition of a 40 year old concrete in-ground swimming pool that was far past its prime. I couldn't be more pleased with the job done by JP General Construction. When I first contacted the owner, Jaime Peredo, he made time to do a site visit the same day in spite of other projects in progress. I found him and his staff to be flexible, straight forward in describing the details of the work to be done, the techniques and equipment involved and the probable duration of the project. The work ethic and attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for., especially on the part of his employee Carlos who was tireless in some very difficult work breaking up the concrete and rebar with a jackhammer. Initially I realized that this was probably not too common a job, so with due diligence I got several proposals for the work, including one from JP General Construction. I had previously been acquainted with their pool demolition work by a near neighbor who also had a pool demolition done by JP General Construction some years ago. "The guys did an amazing job installing our fence! We live in a DC row home so it was a challenging job—very little space between lot lines, trees in the way, existing fences. "Kevin McCray and his team did a drive through the neighborhood and knocked on my door to ask if I wanted my trees trimmed. I have received several quotes in the past from professional arborist companies which were very high so we could not complete the work even though it was in serious need of being done. McCray's quote was very fair, and while it didn't cover the full extent of work our past quotes had, it covered the main areas of concern for me so I decided to move forward.
if you are looking for a place that will provide full written contract and such, this is probably not the service for you. However, if you are budget conscious and just want a job well done, then they are great. Very professional and courteous team, did work safely with no damage to our house or yard and cleaned up after themselves so you can't tell they were even here. Walked through the scope of work before and after to ensure we were on the same page about what was to be done and for what price. And no money exchanged hands until I was walked through and happy with the result.

I can't speak to their other landscaping work as I didn't have any done, but they do offer other landscaping services as well."

"Isaac was a pleasure to work with. They captured my vision for my condo perfectly. I had major work done (Had two bathrooms renovated completely (remove a bathtub and extend the shower and make a closet in one of them), tear out the hard wood floors and polish the concrete, paint the kitchen cabinets and install a backsplash and put in new carpeting in the bedrooms and paint the whole place.
