Randy was very patient with us in trying to decide whether to use cedar or pressurized wood to support the deck as well as our seasonal porch. On the first day of work, a three man crew arrived with Brandon as the lead team member. The crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and quiet as they worked for the next five days. They were extremely tidy in cleaning up during and after the work product was installed. We would definitely use their services again and recommend them to others. A job very WELL DONE!"

"Dupont was so extremely patient with us as we had wanted to wait to build the deck due to COVID affecting the world last year. So we waited until this year to build the deck. We also went back and forth on designs and they were very accommodating and worked within our budget make the needed changes. I can honestly say that they did an absolutely amazing job on the project. Communication was great as well. They had built a large cedar upper level deck with stairs. It came out beautifully and was built so sturdy I am sure it could easily survive a hurricane or maybe a tornado. They are truly customer first organization and that is rare to see nowadays. "The project was a roof replacement due to hail damage. Proficient Construction was recommended by neighbors who used them for the same types of projects and were also impressed with their work. This was an insurance claim. It was not straightforward and required several discussions and reviews with the insurance company. Proficient navigated the process and advocated on my behalf. We ultimately reached the right outcome. Rachel was assigned as the project manager and managed all aspects of the project. She kept me informed throughout and made several trips to personally meet, provide samples, and make sure each step of the process was done. The work done was excellent. It was a one day project but when the weather forecast showed risk for storms in the afternoon Rachel pulled crews in the vicinity to make sure the roof was done before the bad weather hit. I would not hesitate to recommend Rachel and Proficient Construction for your home project needs."

"Trim and door frames were replaced, and the installation of the wood itself was well done, however, with complete lack of foresight. We specifically stated we did not want cuts done in the house, and the workers filled our house with dust while sawing indoors without even hooking up a shop vac to the saw. Little effort was made to clean. We specifically stated that we would go with thicker trim to go over the older existing trim, so they just went in and replaced trim that was smaller than the existing trim, leaving damaged walls and holes in the floor. Then we got the bill and the materials cost was higher than the estimate - never occurred to them to let us know at the beginning of the project when they bought the supplies. We had the work done while we were out of town, I recommend using a different contractor, or at least staying at home and babysitting the work they do."

They are very professional and you can tell they take pride in their work. Price is fair. We will use them again when we are ready to make the deck a screened porch. They already added the screen under the deck for us and I hadn't even thought of that.
