The job consisted of having to remove the left side door frame and molding from our bathroom door which they took great care in doing thus minimizing any destruction of the plaster walls. They expertly installed the new frame and rehung the door perfectly. They also repaired out front exterior door which was out of plumb and not closing properly. And also replaced our exterior basement door. They also replaced a damaged tongue and groove knotty pine board in our stairwell leading to our upstairs bedroom. Joe and Chris explained everything they had to do to complete the jobs and Joes estimate was reasonable in price. They are both gentlemen with a professional attitude, friendly and easy to talk to about the work and a variety of other topics not related to the job at hand. I highly recommend them."

"Hugh's three workers were fantastic. They completed the work on the deck replacement in a day-and-a-half. The work was done cleanly with no damage to the landscaping that is so close to the project. Clean up when the project was completed is superior to any other we had done in the past. The refurbished storm door looks brand new and is a welcoming addition to the project. Hugh contacted us the same day as our request and showed up for the initial estimate on time. I cannot emphasize more what a pleasant experience it was having Hugh and his workers take care of our project. "Eddie Drake and his crew did an awesome job! I have found it rare that a contractor does everything they say they will do...and then more! Eddie communicated with us to keep us up to date on the start date, then started when they promised. He was in touch with us daily to check on the progress of the job and visited himself to be sure everything was to our satisfaction. The work crew was clean with the materials and very respectful. They took a lot of pride in their work. They told us each day which area of the house they planned on working so we were able to move our cars out of the garage to have access. The siding was exactly what we ordered and installed perfectly. Any little thing, and they were few, we saw was fixed the very next day. The project manager, Steve, was also there daily to check the work and make sure we were pleased. The workmanship was so good that we even added a new picture window to the job. That too, was installed in a timely manner, and again, cleanly and efficiently. Even after the job was completed, they came back and reinstalled a cable wire that I asked him to move - the next day. They even replaced some screens, that were old, and to be sure they all matched, they replaced all of them in that area of the house at no additional charge. When everything was finished, you would never know anyone was there, with the exception of a perfect exterior! (The perfect company name!) It was a pleasure to work with Eddie and his team. Many positive comments about the finished product. I would highly recommend."

"As usual, Alan showed up as scheduled and did a thorough walk-around to detail the work that needed to be done. Candi had the contract done the next morning and the carpenters showed up two days later as promised. Bucky and Max worked a full day and did a great job. They not only fixed the superficial rotted wood, but went down to the support structure and made repairs. They used good quality materials and were very happy to explain to me how they were making the repairs. The porches are on a Victorian Style house and they were able to make the repairs while maintaining the decorative style. Bucky's skill and workmanship really came through on the work done on the front porch. Max really did a great job replacing the shakes and fascia boards on the back porch. He also did a nice job replacing the outside door to the basement. This was a professional and quality job through and through."

"After some fumbles, the job was completed 12/1/17 but I had some concerns and criticisms. Tom (the owner) contacted me and we talked and straightened everything out. He was wonderful to deal with (as was Michelle) and very generous - would definitely have them back to do other jobs."

"When my roof started leaking I began the arduous task of getting estimates for a new roof. After getting a number of estimates from most of the minor and major roofing companies serving Orange County NY, I was not impressed. Most of the larger companies were expensive and the owner is not involved in the installation. The smaller companies had no website or did not belong to the Better Business Bureau. I also received a couple of estimates from home improvement companies which although they had much lower estimates, they were not accredited with the shingle manufacturer which could void the warranty. As a last resort I called Luna Siding and Roofing, Inc. Their salesman Sam came out the next day and I explained to him I did not need the whole sales pitch about the shingles which I had heard a number of times already. He explained to me that the owner is on site throughout the roof installation. Sam did not give me an estimate on the spot which all of the other contractors previously had. A day or two later I received a detailed estimate of the work to be done with a ton of additional information. I was also impressed with the fact that I was given a 48 hour discounted price which helped to expedite my decision. After doing some research of the company as well as requesting photos of actual work that they had done, I signed a contract. To my luck they had an immediate opening. Within a few days after sending a deposit, the owner Rolando and his crew arrived 7am in the morning and immediately went to work. Unfortunately for me the roof sheathing had two problems, it was only 3/8 inch plywood and portions of the roof exposed to direct sunlight all day had melted the shingles onto the plywood which was impossible to remove. After doing some quick online research and talking to Rolando, I decided to have the entire roof sheathing replaced with 1/2 inch plywood. Although it was unexpected expense, I do not believe in being penny wise and dollar foolish as the saying goes, putting a new roof over questionable roof sheathing could lead to very expensive problems later which the shingle manufacturer may not cover. Rolando was also flexible with allowing me to pay a small balance in the near future after the holidays. The crew worked throughout the day and were completed by 4 in the afternoon. The yard was completely cleaned and the roof looked great. I would highly recommend Luna Siding and Roofing to friends and family."
