"The service was scheduled twice after they did not show the first time at the appointed hour. The second day, they came, but about 2-3 hours later than planned. The 2 man crew worked hard and put in more time than the deal I purchased required, but the work was not especially good. My hedge is ragged and uneven, and the shrub trimming was uneven and will have to be corrected by me. Clean up was promised, and I do have about 10 huge black bags of debris to dispose of (deal does not include taking away the debris), but I also have a large pile of clippings that were not bagged, and an area of the front lawn that was not raked or cleaned up at all. I will have to even up the trimming myself, and clean up the areas left undone. The guys were hard working and the boss was friendly and apologetic about the hedge condition, but it seems that they don't really know how to do this work."

"Mike, the sales manager at Rightway Waterproofing was very professional with a non-pressure, full free estimate in my grandparents home that I now own. He was on time, and spent about an hour going over all the options I had to waterproof the basement. I told him I planned on getting work done in the basement within the next three months, and he was completely understanding, and did not try to use sales pressure tactics whatsoever. 
I did a heavy amount of research looking around for a waterproofing company. I also had a lot of questions, and Mike was very prompt in responding to emails, took all my phone calls, and also allowed me to tour the facility - he showed me the company vehicles, where they keep the supplies, how the work day looks when everyone leaves the shop, and what to expect when they arrive to work on the property. He took his time, did not rush me out the door. He kept his word about the date and time I scheduled with him to see the facility, and made sure he was able to spend all the time needed to answer all my questions. 
Though this was such a difficult decision, I rarely give reviews to companies I do not use. I had to give Rightway a good review because I really did have a great experience of not being pressured. Time will tell if I regret this decision to not go with Rightway, but in all honesty - IF you want to deal with a FANTASTIC sales manager who will go over EVERY option you have to waterproof your basement, AND.. who will NOT pressure you into making a deal or else the price will go up - THIS company would be a GREAT choice. 
I will not go into great detail of why I chose elsewhere because it honestly has NOTHING to do with this company or the tour or anything I've experienced. Mike was very patient, respectable and knows his stuff. The company to me seems like an excellent company to hire. Thank you.

"I originally met with Burkholder Brothers to price out a lawn sprinkler system. They were very responsive and I met with Mark Burkholder to discuss my options. They submitted a proposal and I felt theirs was the best. It was a good value, a fair price, and I was immediately trusting of his capability. As I progressed, I added on additional work with them that included a significant amount of hardscaping and landscaping. This time it was Barry Burkholder who gave me comfort. The job was completed ahead of schedule and their entire staff is fantastic - hard working, courteous, and they keep a very clean work space. This is an exceptional family business and do fantastic, high quality work at a fair price. I will likely broaden my relationship with them given how they already performed in these three areas. I highly recommend Burkholder Brothers."

"When I first called, the call was forwarded to a voice mail with just a message the number you were calling (which was different than Company number listed). I wasn't sure the number was right since the number didn't identify itself as American Arborist. I took a chance and left a message and was called back the next day. Bill arrived on time the day it was scheduled. His professionalism and compassion for his job was very evident. He discussed some things that others who came out did not. Other places told me I could save some branches that were split from the rough winter by using a bolt and cable system, but also cost more to have done. Bill could've played the same song as them to make more money, but he didn't. He explained the splits were too deep for such a thing and that they would have to be cut down. He was able to schedule me within days of hiring his services. When the day came, Bill did call prior to the scheduled time to let me know they would be late due to the customer they were with requested some additional work. Bill still arrived at my house around the time we were scheduled to wait for the crew to arrive. We were scheduled for 2pm, but the crew didn't arrive until around 3:30. I had nothing else planned, so it wasn't too big of a deal. I appreciate people who don't rush out of one job to get to their next appointment and wind up not doing the job right. Once the crew showed up, Mark took over the operation and the whole process went great. They never cut too much off, always asking if it I was fine with it or wanted more off. The company is also combined with Sabia Landscape and Tree Service. The final thing that impressed me about the company is they give discounts to Veterans. One last thing, their price was $200 less (with Veterans discount), than the others I had come out that wanted to use the bolt/cable system.

"Optimist Technician, Jerome McCarter, came out diagnosed the problem and corrected it. He was punctual, professional, thorough and respectful. He also gave me tips on maintenance of the system. I was delighted that he got the system up and running as it was extremely hot in the house. He did a great job."

"It went very well. They called fairly soon to set up a date to begin. Then Mother Nature stepped in and gave us too late season snow events, followed by unceasing rain. Once things cleared up Jim came and started the project. He kept me updated about when he would be here and how things were progressing. I am very pleased with the finished job. What I will add is that Jim really listened to what I wanted, and why. I feel a previous experience with this service from another provider did not give me that feeling."
