The actual issue turned out to be a cut wire and a failed thermostat. The blower motor and control boards were functioning properly. Once repaired, the system works normally. Total repair cost was under $800. When we disputed the diagnostic charge due to the incorrect diagnosis, the company refused to adjust the invoice and compared the situation to ?getting a second medical opinion,? rather than acknowledging the misdiagnosis.
