"Our new door was ordered on 6/3/2021and installed on 9/15/2021. Shortly thereafter a cosmetic dent was noticed in one of the panels. A new panel was ordered and the damaged one was replaced. On observation, the new panel was damaged also. Again, the panel was ordered and, after a time, replaced. More recently, we noticed that there is a dent on one of the panels but this one is on the interior facing side of the panel. This went unnoticed until now. The previous two cosmetic defects were to the exterior facing panels. The currently damaged panel defect is on the inside facing surface and went unnoticed until now. Most likely because we were accustomed to looking for cosmetic issues on the exterior of the panels. Although it took us a while to discover this new defect, once seen, it is impossible for us to unsee it. Unfortunately for us, Twin City Garage Door Co. refuses to cover the replacement of the panel under their warranty. We will NOT use this company for our next garage door purchase or service. One garage door purchased with three panel replacements, due to handling issues, seems excessive."

"Everything went well, from the initial contact to the final install. We have a new, high quality Haas door and Liftmaster opener. Communication was excellent, with estimates, invoices etc. all provided by email in a timely manner. Good customer service. When the opener malfunctioned a few weeks after installation, Aker sent a service tech out the next day and he quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I believe that the cost was commensurate with the quality of materials, workmanship and service that we received. I would recommend Aker."

"We were able to book a convenient time for us for the repair person to come out and look at our broken garage door opener.  The Service Tech found the gears were stripped with shavings around the circuit board &RPM sensor.  The travel assembly was bent.  The opener was approximately 13 years old so it was time to replace rather than repair.  The Tech removed the old opener & installed the new opener.  He also tuned and lubed the door.  All was completed in a timely manner. <br />"

"A tale of two visits. The first crew which came this morning thought that the garage door opener was beyond repair based on a quick visual. Because they didn't have the new belt system I wanted in their van, we arranged for AA to come back later today. I'm VERY GLAD the first crew didn't have the opener with them BECAUSE the second crew, Tristan and Roy, actually took the time after talking to me to open my existing system up and try to repair it. It turned out the problem was fixable and so instead of spending $340 for a new opener I didn't need, I spent a reasonable $99 to fix my existing system. Additionally, Tristan and Roy made it clear that if their fix doesn't hold, the company would put in the new one for an additional $240, which seems very fair. In terms of responsiveness, I was glad that the owner answered his phone on Saturday afternoon when I called (one of their competitors and an Angie's List member who I've used before didn't call me back until Monday morning, but by then I had committed to AA). Additionally, both crews were polite and came within the promised window (Tristan and Roy also called 30 minutes ahead as promised). If I had only worked with Tristan and Roy, I would for sure have given an "A" review to AA, but because the earlier crew didn't take the time to ensure that I really needed a new system, I am instead giving this experience a "B.""

"Kevin repaired the strut, repositioned the opener bracket to better center it on the door, fabricated a reinforcement bracket, mounted the whole opener in a more solid manner, and adjusted the door spring tension. He lubricated all of the door hinges and tested the operation. He suggested cable replacement because of obvious rust so I had him do that as well. In other words, he did in one hour what I would have done myself if I had the tools and knowledge. My door is repaired and works better than ever and I got a few tips on how to keep it operating efficiently and quietly."

"From my first interaction with this company to project completion, they were professional, courteous, and prompt throughout. This is a company with integrity who cares about their customers. We moved into a new home recently and needed an opener installed on one of our doors. They were on time for the quote, as well as for the installation. After they completed that installation, they found out that our other opener (from the 80s) was defective. The issue was any opener would open that door.
