"Donald Rogerson responded very quickly, analyzed the photos I sent him, knew exactly what to bring, and provided a very reasonable quote over the phone. He reassured me from the start, and took control of the situation with the utmost professionalism and clear communication. His work was impeccable, and he even insisted on cleaning up. I heartily recommend him, not only for water heater issues, but for any indoor plumbing need. He will certainly be my plumber from now on."

"Very friendly and answered all my questions. Ordered a bad Home Depot water heater and was able to get a new one from them for the install with no issues."

"I had a new air conditioner, heater and water heater installed. Everything went so smoothly as usual with Estes. I always can count on Estes to be on time and polite plus do excellent work. Have used Estes for over 40 yrs."

"We had a complicated plumbing renovation job with a new water heater and expansion tank install, new hook up for washer and dryer, two sinks, hook up for dishwasher and refrigerator, moved a toilet, installed shower valve and outside faucet. He will come back to install faucets. Chad was on time, very thorough, able to troubleshoot, knowledgable and cleaned up. Highly recommend."

"This pro did the job perfectly right. Exceeded expectations, he sacrificed his time coming after hours to install my new water heater. I am very pleased with his work and I highly recommend him."

"called several companies on 6/23/2014 , and Moncrief was the first one that could send someone out "as soon as possible in the afternoon". Not an issue since that was the response from every other company.
Technician arrived on time, was very professional and quickly found and fixed the problem.  Unfortunately, I didn't  explicitly tell him to review any repairs with me prior to making them.
I was charged a $95 diagnostic fee and $130 to replace a $15 capacitor.  $225 for 45 minutes of labor and $15 of parts. Overall a good experience, but I would not have agreed to $130 service charge for a capacitor replacement.

***DISCLAIMER***
To anyone reading this review.  I AM qualified to change a capacitor, the average user should not attempt to make any repair with a capacitor or any other device of this type as it can cause serious injury and death when done incorrectly.

I have no complaints with the technician, he was competent and professional and did a great job.

In response to your pricing explanation, that's great. I understand. We all need to do what we need to do to cover the cost of doing business. I don't feel like anything was not a fair or honest price.  I don't feel like it's out of line with the market cost.  Bottom line, I don't care. Your overhead of doing business to stay in business is not my problem.  I agreed to pay $95 for a diagnostic fee to find out what was wrong with the unit. I would not have agreed to an additional $130 to replace a capacitor had I been asked before the work was done. Once the work was done, I paid the bill and I'm not asking for a refund or anything else for many of the reasons you outline.

Had I known it was the blower motor capacitor, I would have gladly accepted absorbing the 90 minutes to drive to one of the Industrial Supply stores in Atlanta that I have an account to purchase a new capacitor the next day because I'm cheap like that. The unit had been out for almost 3 days at that point and the other unit was picking up the slack pretty well.

However, I didn't have to drive anywhere or wait for shipping because I ALREADY HAD THE CAPACITOR. I bought it when I had to replace the capacitor on the outside unit 2 years ago and I wanted one on hand when the inside unit went. I also know it wasn't bad out of the box, because I tested the capacitance and discharge in the store with a Fluke 113 multimeter before I took possession of said box. It was located in a drawer less than 15 feet from your tech. Given the opportunity, that's $34 I didn't need to spend.

I would have most likely taken the chance on making the repair myself, as replacing the capacitor is not one of the more difficult tasks involved.  Make sure the power is off at the breaker, do that special thing that must be done to make capacitors safe, disconnect the leads, remove old capacitor, put in new capacitor, reconnect leads and so on.

While I appreciate the time you spent to write this review and the personal note that I received in the mail, I hope this helps you  understand the reason for my dissatisfaction."

"My water heater was replaces, Scott replace a part in my showerhead in the master bath he also unclog a toilet .I have not seen great service like this in years. Most company now day’s don’t give good customer service.. most companies just want the money but won’t provide that service well. Senior plumber technician Scott, was very respectful explain every detail of the job to me check everything after, very polite I cannot say enough about him like I said. He represents his company well… Great job Scott thank you so much"

"Jeremy Reel completed the install to perfection. He installed a 50A breaker and the Level 2 Charger. When the car was only charging to 32A he stayed and trouble shot the issue for an extra hour. As it turns out, 32A was the max the car would charge at. I was very satisfied with TE Certified and would recommend them to anyone."

"The job was to replace the pipe for the main water source. The cost is right, work crews are pleasant to work with, cleaned up properly after the job was done."
