"I switched to Burge a couple of years ago bc I wanted a more personal relationship. I got it. They turn my sprinkler system on in the spring and off in the fall. They have always been nice to deal with and this summer they installed the Hydrawise control system which I can control with my phone. I love it! It's so easy. I struggled with the other controller. This should save me money bc it responds to the weather. And most recently I had some landscaping done and wouldn't you know, failed to tell the people to watch out for some water lines. Of course, they sliced right through one. Martin came out in a couple days (I easily suspended that zone via Hydrawise) and fixed it so quickly. Highly recommend this group."

"I can't say anything negative about the work done with pavers, etc. However, when it came to their landscaping, grading, seeding and mulching, I had to do it over myself due lack of workmanship and follow-up. I supplied the mulch and there was only 1/2 - 3/4" placed around shrubs and a re-planted tree. Grading the yard would not have been close to what was agreed if I hadn't been present when completed. Seeding the yard was done twice with zero growth. One issue is there was topsoil to be applied but I, nor soil suppliers and other landscapers had never seen gray topsoil, which the company owner assured me was quality soil to use. As for grass seed, I'm not sure what was used but the only thing that grew was crabgrass, which I had to rid from my yard. My costs for properly adding quality soil, seed and then adding straw for germination was FAR less than what I was charged to do an improper and far from a professional job. Additional cost on my part will be adding mulch to a proper level and will be approximately an additional 25 -30 bags. As for the work on the pavers, it was a quality job. However, considering the overall job and the lack of properly completing the contracted work (and paid in full prior to completion - my fault), I could NOT recommend this company primarily due to lack of honesty in completing the work as contracted and lack of honesty on the part of the company."

They mow my yard on a regular basis, and we have contracted with them to do extra work, like removing small trees, large shrubs, weeding, mulching, aerating and seeding the yard, etc. They go above and beyond. "We obtained several opinions and quotes, and decided to go with Mark and his team because they provided several solutions for the issue: 1) Install pipe underground that connected our sump pump output to a pop-up at the bottom of the yard, so that water from the sump pump could no longer saturate the lawn 2) plant topsoil and grass, so that the water had a place to go instead of just washing the mud down the hill, and 3) redo the concrete step at the base of our walkway with a gradient so that water would no longer collect there. All three solutions worked. We have since had two storms and our walkway has remained puddle and mud-free. Furthermore, Mark was very professional. Proactive communication, arrived on-time as expected. Called before he came by. Mark proved to be trustworthy, and followed-through on everything he said he would do. I highly recommend Mark's Lawn & Landscape!"

"Excellent. I really enjoyed meeting Eric. He and his staff were awesome from the very beginning. Everything was explained step by step and the workers were so polite and friendly, always smiling. Pouring concrete for a pathway or driveway can wreak havoc in your yard, but these guys were so meticulous and careful to only drive on my lawn and put dirt on my lawn. (I have a semi-detached home). They cleaned up everything nicely and even reseeded my grass where the track marks from the truck were. I have already contracted with GPRO for some additional landscaping. I would recommend them for all your landscaping needs. Edie"

"Kevin showed up on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. We had a previous company, SPC, who would only come out when requested and weren’t very good. Problems they supposedly had resolved were not, but Kevin took the time to explain what he found and why the problem (mice) still existed. He put out traps and poisons to rid the mice, and immediately scheduled a follow up to ensure everything was taken care of and another just for maintenance. All covered under the service contract. Plus, if you use them for lawn care (also excellent service) as well the initial fee is waived."
