"From the beginning of the project to the end, the co-owners Ross and Andy and their diverse team of technicians and workers were professional, reassuring, prompt, and thorough. I particularly appreciated not only the diversity of their team but the camaraderie among them that led to efficiency and ease of service. They treated our house with respect, cleaning up after themselves at every step of the process and were trustworthy, as we needed to leave them alone in our home during most of the process. They even asked if they could use the restroom. On the way out, I mentioned a problem with my kitchen faucet and Ross stopped his exit, got down on the floor, found the problem and made the repair on the spot-no charge. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who finds themselves with an extensive and expensive home repair of this type. They were, in a word, TERRIFIC. "A1 Handyman & Plumbing Services saved my house. I moved into a home built in 1925 and after three months noticed an open, leaking pipe in the basement ceiling. Water was pouring out of it, to provide a more accurate description. Sean from A1 came to the house. He investigated the leaking pipe further and discovered not only serious plumbing issues (multiple pipes connected to the same main drainage pipe) but also an abandoned oil tank was hidden behind the drywall; the consequences of neglect and thriftiness from the previous owners. The huge tank made it impossible to reroute the pipes properly. Sean removed the oil tank, ripped up the subfloor, and reorganized the pipes correctly. The inspector had failed to see this issue and the previous owners did not disclose it. Sean's honesty and professionalism was a blessing and a nice change of a pace from my homeowning experience to date. He's a plumbing guru as far as I'm concerned, not to mention a gifted problem solver. I've hired him again for a different issue and will continue to do so when needed in the future."
