"Last fall, I set out to replace an aging oil fired boiler with a modern gas fired unit. I bought the boiler itself and laid out and fitted most of the plumbing, but I still needed help with the gas piping and the final reconnection of the new and old systems.
Peter Johnson was the perfect fit for my project. He came over to my house, looked at what I had done, offered suggestions on some changes -- for example, to move the make-up water valve closer to the boiler -- and came back to work when I could be there as well. It took us less than a day to finish the job and get the heat back on. He also helped me with getting the proper permits from the City and in dealing with the inspector.
Peter used to work in New England where boilers rather than forced hot air furnaces are the norm so he was very familiar with my heating system. He even loaned me some of his tools -- very large pipe wrenches and an invaluable pipe vise -- that are needed to deal with large black iron pipe, and taught me the best ways to assemble sections of black iron. On the job, Peter is easy to work with and even listens to WCQS.

"We had the pleasure of working with Chad & Claudius a second time! After a very professional job a few weeks prior, we asked if they would be able to handle a much larger and significantly more difficult job. My girlfriend moved in with her washer and dryer and wanted them upstairs in our master bath. To that point, we had to go down two levels to the basement to do laundry. There was no setup in our bathroom to do this. The job required new electrical outlets, vent pipes, running wire down two floors through the walls to the breaker box in the basement, and connecting a water line which required additional piping. Oh, and C&C drove down to Lake Lanier from South Carolina each day no less! We had 6 plumbing companies and handymen in to look at the job and quote it. They all said they would work up some numbers and All 6 never responded again. No one wanted to do this job! Chad said it would be difficult but he was up to the challenge. He and Claudius delivered big time! It was more difficult than I imagined but they had a great plan and executed it to perfection. I can't tell you how happy my girlfriend is to have this convenience. Also, it looks like I found our team moving forward. We have had no luck with local plumbers, electricians, and reno companies. They either don't care, aren't skilled, or both. Craftmanship is a thing of the past unless you choose C&C of course. Old school!"

"Mr. MacPeek showed up on time, fixed my dishwasher, hung a door, and replaced a window frame and repaired a rotten frame. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and took the time to explain what he was doing. He cleaned up after all of his work and everything he did was done well. "Ty was wonderful. He returned my call within minutes and was able to come out that evening t deal with the immediate problem of the leak. He removed the wet drywall and cleaned up the damage, as well as the room he worked in. When he was finished for the night, the space was clean instead of covered in drywall dust. He arranged to come back to complete the repair a week later - the delay was in part to let the damaged area fully dry and in part my own schedule. He came back on the scheduled day, on time, and replaced my shower floor and completed the repair. It looks fantastic!

His sub-contractors were also polite, professional, and did great work. I highly recommend Ty and will call him again if I ever need any help with plumbing.

He advised me about flooring quality, with pros and cons for my application. He offered to purchase the materials on my behalf so I could benefit from his contractors discount. He sent photos part way through the project to confirm my wishes regarding wood grain direction. He used his experience to address the threshold between this room and adjoining which was complicated due to floor level change."

"Eric, through his receptionist, advised that since it was a fairly small job, an hourly rate of $135.00 for first hour and $35.00 per hour after that was agreed to. However, I did not realize that instead of working full days to complete the project, it took 4 days ( 3 hours one day, 4 hours another, etc) to complete. Therefore they charged $135.00 for the first hour each day for 4 days. If the guys had worked longer each day it would have been completed in less days; therefore less cost to me. Eric's office was contacted but Eric advised the pricing was correct."
