"Todd and his crew was always courteous, clean, and professional. What started as a kitchen remodel evolved into a neat entire house redo. The owner had great solutions on project issues until completion. I definitely recommend this company."

"JNP Construction and Rick Bradshaw are my go to contractors for all our projects. This has included a fully remodeled master bath, Guest bath and kitchen. He handles each project challenge with his customary extreme knowledge and coordination with all subs and the county. Every new construction related problem, Rick is my first call."

"We began the process calling contractors and no one had time or would return our call. I called Forrest Construction and spoke with Lindsey the Owner and explained our situation with our bathroom and floors. When others had no time Linsdey made to come over that day and look at the bathroom to see what was needed. Due to damaged walls, sub flooring and showers walls/tile that water had got in behind a full gut and remodel was needed. Impressed with his communication, price to do the remodel and make it 100% better than what we had there was no need to look any further. Less than 24 hrs later Forrest Construction was at our home and completing repairs in record time and honestly exceeding our expectations on the entire process. He completed the job sonner then promised and left us with our dream bathroom my entire family is thrilled with. We were so impressed with the service we received we had Forrest Construction add new vinyl windows to our entire home and also a new sliding back porch vinyl glass sliding door with all new trim inside and out making our home look even better and save us a ton of money with heating our home now having better and modern windows. I can't wait to have them back and can't recommend them enough to others that may be in the same position looking to have any home repairs done affordably ad with someone you can trust! Thank you again Forrest Construction!"

"The garage was old and the plans I provided did not take into account many things we ran into. Rob and his partner Robert, came in and handled the project beautifully. I wanted it to be attractive and historically match the house (about 100 years old). Rob has a great sense of design which was needed to make the project look good, be well constructed and functional. He was truly an artist as he worked out the various details of the project and of course knowledgeable about general building and contracting issues. The two contractors had a wealth of experience and expertise. I was always felt we were doing the best possible given the parameters of the project. Very thoughtful. Construction work is a serious relationship and I was pleased to have such a great person to work with. Also, Rob and Robert looked for good quality sub contractors at reasonable prices. Everyone was a joy to work with."

"Verity Construction had just completed an extensive remodel of our home and we were pleased with all aspects of their work. Unfortunately, within a few months, our town and entire neighborhood were destroyed by fire. We didn't hesitate to hire Verity for the complete rebuild of our home. Once again, they provided expert, professional services from beginning to end. As hundreds of homes were being rebuilt, we had lots of opportunities to compare the experiences of our friends and neighbors with our own and can state unequivocally that Verity deserves a 5 star rating. Every major task was handled by a craftsman, from the cabinet maker, floor installer, painter and deck builder, their skills and expertise were apparent, and their suggestions for improving our original plans were always appreciated. Despite the challenges they faced with supply chain delays, material shortages, the pandemic, etc., they kept us appraised of all issues, and somehow managed to overcome all obstacles. We are truly grateful and without hesitation, submit a 5 star rating for Verity Construction."

"Robert Pendrey and his team appeared on time, then thoroughly prepped the old surface. After removing the window screens, John even washed all the windows. He power washed our chimney and, for a nominal fee, even our sidewalks and patio! He and his team painted our home beautifully (two coats) and left everything spic and span. What a treat. His fee was $6,200 and we could not be more pleased with the job. Thanks, Robert."

"Anthony and his crew were great. After receiving very high estimates from other foundation contractors I found Anthony through this website. He efficiently ascertained the situation and laid out his proposed game plan in very easy to understand words and terms . No scare tactics, no "the sky is falling" maneuvers. I very much appreciate his easy going approach and manner - same with his crew - all very upbeat without any phoniness. Work was done efficiently, cleaned up daily, and on time. He's a very personable and knowledgeable everyday guy, just out there to make a living and not a killing. I'd use him again in a heartbeat."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Pacific Construction for a major bathroom remodel, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, the team demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to making my vision come to life. The design process was collaborative and enjoyable; they took the time to understand my needs and preferences, offering valuable suggestions that truly enhanced the space. The project manager kept me informed every step of the way, ensuring that timelines were met and that I was comfortable with the progress. What truly impressed me was the craftsmanship and attention to detail. The quality of work is outstanding—my new bathroom is not only beautiful but functional as well. They transformed my outdated space into a luxurious retreat, complete with modern fixtures and elegant finishes. The team was respectful of my home, maintaining a clean work environment and minimizing disruption during the remodel. It was clear that they take pride in their work and prioritize customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Pacific Construction for anyone considering a home renovation. Their dedication to delivering exceptional results is evident, and I would definitely work with them again for future projects! Thank you, Pacific Construction, for making my dream bathroom a reality!"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Ashland, OR

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
