"I filled out a form on Angi about an AC problem, and Calfo was one of the first to call. The call was initially a little bit confusing because they answered the phone by name-dropping HomeAdvisor, but not the name of their company, until I asked where they were calling from. Regardless, my AC wasn't working and they were the first one to get a technician to my location. The technician quickly made a determination as to the repairs to be made. The price was significantly higher than I expected for a simple capacitor replacement, but it was Friday afternoon and it was hot outside. The technician showed me the estimate on their iPad, then clicked through to another screen where I signed. I asked the technician to perform the immediate repairs necessary and give me a quote for full system replacement. Before getting my quote for full system replacement, the technician asked me to fill out my information on a form. As I was filling out the form, I saw that SSN was being asked for, and noticed that it was a credit application. This was not made clear to me before I was asked to fill it out. I declined to fill it out further because I was not interested having a hard-pull on my credit report when I simply wanted a quote. When I received a signed copy of the invoice for the repair work performed (which I didn't get until I asked about it the next day), they had included an additional charge that wasn't mentioned in the price I was given in person, and one that I certainly did not see when I signed. Despite this, my signature was inserted on the bottom of this electronically generated form. Given my experience with their repair service, I am not going to hire Calfo for replacement of my AC system. Also, their quote lists minimal detail compared to other quotes I have received. Quotes they provided don't have any details about the specific parts replaced, nor do they mention any particular brands or model of equipment. Their prices were also higher than price ranges others quoted, and given the surprise repair charges and lack of detail in the quote, I do not have a good impression of their honesty."

"First of all, I can can do plumbing myself, but it usually involves more than a day or two and multiple trips to one of the big box stores. Since the tub hardware was old and corroded, I didn't want to take a chance of making things worse, so I decided to call in a professional; that the toilet started leaking was a (happy) coincidence for me, so he or she could do that at the same time. I contacted TruPlumbing and Tom was dispatched for the job... he contacted me to set up a time and date for the service call and also gave me a quote and the option to buy my own parts for the job, telling me what was needed, Tom arrived on time and had both jobs completed in a few hours; he was very professional, covered his shoes so as not to track dirt into the house, and explained what all he had done. I would definitely recommend TruPlumbing and will use them in the future."

Nate did everything from replacing seating straps on porch furniture to replacing screen panels on our screened porch to changing front door hardware to replacing toilet seats to replacing screened porch light fixtures to taking down a wall mounted TV (and the mounting device) to moving furniture, to replacing all door stops, to setting a hinge pins on doors to running an errand to Lowe's, etc, etc. His attitude was great. "We could not have been more pleased with the work the Madden Brothers did to create our new master bath and closet. From beginning to end, the project was a great experience. George and Brian gave us exactly what we wanted and did so in a professional, yet extremely pleasant manner. We were very appreciative of their knowledge, experience, and attention to detail. They are both perfectionists when it comes to the way things should be done. If that wasn't all, they left the workspace and house clean and vacuumed every single day and I can't tell you how great, and unusual, that was. Even the subs commented on how neat they were! In addition to everything else, their painting skills are truly impressive (I have never seen straighter paint lines along any ceilings!). We couldn't be any happier with the results.
