"I came up with some initial drawings for Pete and his architect to give them an idea of what we wanted. After some back and forth with them, we were able to settle on a floor plan very close to our imagined ideas. Pete's crew headed up by Oscar was very professional. Even though the work on the house was a major undertaking, they were able to create a temporary plywood wall in one of the old bedrooms so that during most of the project we had enough bedrooms for our kids. This was huge. As far as subcontractors go, there were a few issues with flaky people, but Pete was able to deal with them/replace them as needed and we were able to get the entire inside portion of the project done by our deadline (before the baby was here). Honestly I think this was mainly due to the boom in the housing market so there is more work than contractors to go around. There was a little outside siding work to wrap up at the end, but we were alright with that since it could happen really anytime without affecting us inside. Pete was also happy to use our painter in the project. We'd used a painter previously that we were very happy with and wanted to use him again, so Pete was ok with this. He had his own guy give us an estimate (which actually was less than our guy was charging), but we ended up using our own. Pete was fine with this - which I really appreciated. We're very happy with the finished product. The new part of our house is in perfect character with the rest of our house both inside and outside. From the outside, you'd never know we have an addition except that the scale of the house is now much grander than before. From the inside, everything flows exactly as we'd hoped, the finishes all match the rest of the house and we have sooo much more space now. We now have enough space that we'll never need to move unless we want to. Also, the new covered deck area is absolutely awesome. We now have a 3-season room that we use all the time. It's fantastic. We made the deck a separate project (the main house addition work was finished in mid-winter, so we waited 'til the summer to do the deck). I got a few bids, for this work - none of the deck companies would put up walls under the overhang the way we wanted, and Pete was able to match them on price while also doing the screen walls. We got vinyl windows that I found online delivered from an east-cost provider and he was able to integrate those into this project, which was great to have it all done by a single contractor. It gives us another ~150 sq ft of living space that we can use for most of the year and I absolutely love it. Budget-wise, we stayed right on point. Pete gave us an itemized price list for all the work, including finishing allowances, to be done from the outset and we stayed within a few percentage points of this throughout the project. We even picked up some finishing materials on our own to save a bit (we got some tile from Costco when they had a sale, other tile from Home Depot that was on closeout - saved several hundred bucks that way). Finally - and this is absolutely key - Pete 100% stands behind his work. We had a few minor issues (totally expected on a project this size) and he always had them resolved quickly. Example, very recently, we had a problem with the backing starting to show through on the mirror in the new bathroom. I called him, he came out and looked at it within a few days. There was no argument needed, Pete just said 'yup, we'll take care of that'. So he ordered the replacement glass, and we now have a replacement mirror installed. This all happened within a couple weeks, with absolutely no headache on our part. This is something that is extremely hard to find. Because of the great service - we plan on hiring Pete again to do a Master Bathroom remodel in a couple years. I'd suggest you do the same!"

"We hired Vic and his team to replace a gas range with electric. This task was complicated by the need to upgrade our electrical panel and run new cables to support the new range. We also needed to cap off the old gas line and repair and paint drywall. They made sure that everything was up to code (including correcting an existing problem they found with grounding) pulled the required permit and arranged for inspection of the completed work. We were impressed by their professionalism throughout. As well as doing quality work they also were very careful to protect our home and clean up once complete. We were very pleased with the finished job and would definitely hire them again."

"Excellently, we initially explained to Vic what it was we wanted to do and he was very receptive to what we wanted Without trying to “take over” and do what was easiest for him. Vic was also very reassuring that what we wanted to do was doable. My wife and I were amazed at what Vic was able to do with rerouting some heating vents and plumbing to hook up our new appliances. Vic was also very knowledgeable in dealing with electrical contractors saving us from being overcharged and avoiding unnecessary work and products. "Ryan and his team completed an extensive basement remodel in our 1924 home. The basement work included new framing/drywall, windows (including a large egress window), plumbing and electrical to support a main living space, new bathroom and new laundry room. We also updated our old forced-air HVAC and water heather to new mini-splits and a tankless water heater. This is our second major project with Ryan and we plan to work with him for many years to come. He's incredibly responsive and detail oriented and always plans phases of our projects to support our future plans. Ryan's expertise and quality of work is well worth the cost."

Through the course of the planning, they provided multiple bids, walked through many nuances of choices and options. All the while they were more punctual and far more detailed than many other contractors I was getting bids from. 
Anatolly walked me through a remodel he was working on and the craftsmanship is fantastic. I think the quality of finished work is probably the best thing about N&R. Anatolly is a hands on builder and craftsman and takes pride in his work. He is also extremely forthcoming on costs and options to keep a project in budget.

She went over my project in detail and said that this kind of technical work would probably be best served by a company that specializes in this cable and ethernet install. I really appreciate her taking the time to tell me that. We also went over what they CAN do for me in the future and she sent me a list about that and their COVID-19 protocol to keep them and us safe! Also they are fully insured and the team brings a lot of extras in the truck with them to get the work done that day. All the years I've needed help doing home remodels and small upgrades, this type of customer service is rare. This company will be my next go to for estimates on home repairs and remodels. "Professional, courteous, reliable, honest, hard working, thoughtful and everything you want in a contractor. I have worked with many companies but I have never been this impressed. First of all, the owner is great to work with. He showed up everyday to make sure everything went according to plan. He was very meticulous and brought out a structural engineer several times to make sure that things were done safely and we wouldn’t have any problems down the road. He always had great ideas and what I appreciated was that he wasn’t always trying to upsell you and had cost in mind because re-modeling projects always have unexpected surprises. Gashin took our outdated downstairs and completely changed the look of our home into a stunning modern home. They took out all the tile flooring and installed new hardwood floors, took down several walls to make an open concept space for our kitchen and dining room, refaced the fireplace, installed a new island and countertops for the kitchen, and all the small things involved in a renovation like ours. To add, they did all this in about 6 weeks. I appreciate how our project was not in conjunction with others which helped to make the whole process super timely. Yes, there was dust but they covered everything up and made sure that the zone was clean every night. After getting to know the owner and his crew I had zero reservations about giving them full access to my home."
