"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"I had Home Solutions Handyman replace a wooden door between my garage and home. The original door never really closed that well, strong windstorms would often blow it open despite being locked, and had about a one inch gap between the bottom of the door and interior flooring that we had to use a draft snake to keep the heat/air from going out into the garage (and bugs from just walking in). After a couple of weeks, the door works perfectly fine and we are very happy with the quality of his workmanship. I am certainly considering Home Solutions Handyman for other carpentry projects I need done around the house as our budget allows."
