"Mr. Quinones was punctual and professional. He gave two treatments that significantly put.a dent in the rodent population. I haven't seen any living rats lately. My husband has found several dead ones. If you are looking for an excellent pest control company, I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE ONE STOP PEST SERVICES."

"Prompt and courteous. Explained everything. Pest free at the moment. Honestly don't know how they compare with other exterminators price wise, but we did lay out a sizeable chunk of money."

"The inspector was polite and friendly, and offered a lot of helpful advice regarding our new home beyond the standard termite inspection. For example, he showed me entry points throughout the home that I should reseal to keep mice out, and named the product I could use as a sealant and gave me guidance as to how to work with it, but also left me with a card in case I didn't want to deal with it myself. This is the best of both worlds for me, because it allows me to make the choice between saving money or saving myself the trouble. He also discussed the construction and certain new home features, and provided multiple photos taken of the home. it was a pleasure working with him.

"Honeslty , this was the best service I have ever had . You shouldn’t bother getting another pest control company . Bugged out was not only affordable but they got the job done the first time . No hidden tricks no nothing . It was perfect . I would hire again . I have had problems in the past in my restaurant. It’s common in nyc , I’ve tried others .. never again bugged out all the way !"

"Excellent service. Shaun arrived on time which is important to me with my busy schedule. Apparently my daughter bought them home from daycare. I tried everything to get rid of them. I called Bug Johnson's pest control. Shaun was extremely detailed and reassuring. Within a few days my house was cleared of those little disgusting bugs. I would totally recommend this company."

"Service was PERFECT ! David called me a few hours after I purchased the offer. We set up an appointment for the following week. He offered to come earlier but that didn't work with my schedule. His technician showed up on time. The yellow jackets seemed to have built a nest under my dryer vent in the wall. I thought it was in the vent itself. The tech treated the area and also answered my questions about the treatment & the yellow jackets. Being allergic to bee stings, I was concerned. He assured me they would be gone within a day or two. I am glad to say he was right. The yellow jackets are gone & I can enjoy my backyard & do my yard work again. And, they gave me a 30 day warranty too !! David & his tech are very professional & friendly. They are happy to answer questions about the pests & treatment & I will be using them again when needed. You can't go wrong calling Silver Bullet. Thanks !"

FAQs for bird and bat pest control service projects in Bronx, NY

Bats slip through gaps as small as 1/4 inch, so your best defense is a thorough seal-up and a few simple habit tweaks. Start by caulking or screening every crack around chimneys, eaves, and vents. Swap dim porch bulbs for brighter LEDs or motion lights (bats dislike the glare), and consider an ultrasonic deterrent if they keep circling.

Finally, remove easy snacks—cover standing water and skip the nighttime bird-feeder refills. These steps go a long way toward keeping your home bat-free.

Standard homeowners’ insurance rarely pays for bat removal because insurers view it as routine maintenance. You might get partial help for guano cleanup or related repairs, but that varies by policy. Review your insurance policy carefully and contact your provider for a definitive explanation. Securing all entry points remains the homeowner’s responsibility to prevent future incursions.

The sweet spot for bat exclusion is late summer through spring. That window keeps you inside most state rules and protects baby bats that haven’t learned to fly yet. Removal activities are conducted when bats are less active, with some states permitting work from August through May and others ceasing removal in March. Consult a qualified bat removal specialist to confirm the valid timeframe for your area.

Spotting a dead bat can be unsettling, but a calm, careful approach keeps everyone safe. First, call your state wildlife office to report the find and ask about local rules. Snap a quick photo from a distance, then—wearing disposable gloves—place the bat in a sealed plastic bag for disposal as directed.

Wipe down nearby surfaces with disinfectant, wash your hands thoroughly, and schedule a pest-control pro to make sure no live bats (or harmful guano) remain hidden in the house.
