Customers say: Quick response

"The customer service was good, but the paint job was not worth 2400. They too the doors off my vanity for 4 days instead of just leaving them off until finished. I can see paint brush lines, and they did come back to smooth the caulking in the corner of the door casing. I have now hired a company who is basically going to pain all of the inside. They are spraying all doors, casing, and baseboards. The job was suppose to be no longer than 2 days, but it took 4 1/2 days. I definitely need to do better vetting those who do work on the house. "

Through our focus on Passive House construction over the past few years we have emerged as a regional leader in high performance green building, bringing transformational energy performance and quality assured durability to our green projects. Even as our work transforms the way we approach "conventional" projects, we remain rooted in the craft-based remodeling and new building that we started with 31 years ago. \n\nA company of carpenters, we construct buildings that sustain and delight by empowering employees, harnessing 21st century building science, and advancing the traditions of craftsmanship. This method is built on five pillars: \n\nCraft: durable, precise work preformed by Aarow Building's career carpenters. \n\nBuilding Science: new levels of home performance achieved through a physics and systems based understanding of how buildings work. \n\nCollaboration with clients and designers: superior homes born of thorough and effective collaboration between the three parties- client, designer and builder. \n\nRigorous project management: on time and on budget protects delivered through clear communication, open books and project management. \n\nEmpowered Employees: service to the client and the designer via service to the employee - happy employees create happy customers.

"All three projects went very well. This company is totally professional and kept me informed of the progress at all times. Project manager made sure all went well and kept in touch. I was informed of any changes. The work was superb. All the subs did a great job and made sure they cleaned up the area worked on before they left, Their subs suggested even better ways to finish projects. We had this company do remodeling on a house we owned 20 years ago. Went back to them based on their earlier performance. Was glad we had them again do work for us."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Columbia, MO

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
