"The AC was installed in 2021 replacing an existing AC. It worked well for two seasons but I n the beginning of this season 2024, I had problems. Although the technicians that came were nice, they did nothing to fix the problem until Christian who worked tirelessly. In the future I will only ask for him. The reason for the rating is because their customer service is very good, however, I went nearly the entire summer with an AC that was malfunctioning because the first two techs could not find any problem. Also, I find their repairs costly. An example is that I paid to be in a program where they inspect electrical plumbing and hvac. No recommendation was less than $500. In fact my son used them to replace two hoses in the kitchen. Starting price for anything seems to be $500 even if they are there for 30 minutes. The choice is yours. very good customers service, nice but mediocre techs (except for Christian) and costly repairs."

"I was having issues with low water pressure in my shower. I received a recommendation from a social media app for a plumber (who I will not name here), who changed the cartridges and charged me $300. It did not fix the issue, and in fact made it worse. They then quoted me a ridiculous estimate to replace the whole shower body. I decided to go on HomeAdvisor to look for another plumber and am so grateful Vinny from Marco Plumbing answered my request. As soon as Vinny showed up I knew I was going to hire him. He tried a few things to fix the issue and then confirmed that the body probably needed to be replaced because finding the right parts for the one I had was going to be difficult. He did not even charge me for that visit (I offered to pay him for taking the time to come check out the situation, but he refused) but quoted me what I felt was a much more reasonable price for the repair. After he left, he sent me some pics of his other work. It was not really necessary as I could tell just from speaking with him how much he cares about the work he does. He had to reschedule once but was in contact with me to give me plenty of notice, and he also called the day of the appointment with an arrival ETA. The job itself was in a very tight space with no other access as the shower is against an outside wall. Throughout the process, he gave me updates and let me know his progress, so I could plan the rest of my day. When the job was finished, he cleaned everything up and I actually had to assure him I would take care of the tub spout I had replaced a few weeks earlier because he saw I had not done it well, and he wanted to take care of that also - on his own time - to make sure the whole job was finished to his standards. I only write all this so that people know what kind of quality work (and quality person) you are going to get if you hire Vinny. I do not usually have good luck when using these referral services, but for some reason I lucked out this time. I would not hesitate to hire him again - and I will. I will also be referring everyone I know to Marco Plumbing and Heating for any related work they might need. If I could give 10 stars, I would."

"My appointment was between 10 to 12 and Derick showed up at 11 after purchasing some parts. He did everything by 1:30 PM and left by 2 PM. He worked on two replacements of pipes one he installed a knob and the other he replaced and installed new pipes. he assessed the surrounding pipes to see if there are any other damages. His work was thorough and very polite. I am having him come back to do the corrosions that we found. The price was a little bit more than I expected but worth the price."

"After the worst rain storm our area ever got hit with my basement apt was flooded. They came quick, prepared and eager to get going. The men dry vacâ d the floor and carpet, removed the carpet and dried the padding and floor. It is a brand new carpet so I wanted to save it but doubted anything would. They were terrific. Everything was completely dried and saved. No mold or mildew. They did a fantastic job but I also liked who they were. They were personable and kind. They really felt bad and wanted to make sure hey helped me the best they could. I appreciated the humanity just as much as the work. I HIGHLY recommend them. "After receiving several quotes, I contracted with Varsity to replace my aged out system. John worked the numbers with me to come up with an acceptable cost factor and worked with me on the install schedule. I needed to do it in two separate phases as I was getting other work done. The install sup reviewed the job and made recommendations tweaking the job. They removed the old units and came back a couple days later for a full day of install with a crew of five tecs. The tecs were very thorough and knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I had to make sure I was satisfied on completion. A system check was done verifying all was good. Then they left the site cleaner than they found it. The sup reviewed my warranty and how to register my units. Varsity is worth receiving an estimate for AC install or replacement if you’re in the market."
