"Well pump was short-cycling. I thought that it was a bad pressure tank, but Hogan's came promptly on a Saturday (no upcharge for Saturdays), and determined that there was a leak in the pipe pulling water from the well. They also determined that my pressure tank was fine. They replaced the leaking pipe and because the pump was 16 years old, I had them replace that as well. Price to replace pipe and pump was $1,200. Evidently that is the norm for this type of service."

Their price on the water system was higher than a few other estimates we received, but we haven't decided what company we are going to end up going with on treating our water.
