"????? I can?t recommend Coastal Improvement Corporation enough! From start to finish, their team was professional, reliable, and truly committed to delivering top quality work. They paid attention to every detail, kept communication clear and consistent, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The results exceeded my expectations ? not only does everything look amazing, but the craftsmanship is clearly built to last. It?s rare to find a company that combines skill, honesty, and customer care this well. If you?re thinking about hiring them, don?t hesitate Coastal Improvement Corporation is absolutely the right choice!"

"our porch had been enclosed with screen by our builders recommended contractor.who took weeks to get the job done. In a few weeks the screen became detached and was flapping in the wind. They did not respond to texts or calls. We contacted MUT construction, they came out right away, assessed the issue, recommended a total redo of the screened enclosure. We agreed to their assessment and price and they started within a week, and finished the job in one day. They were very professional, and pleasant to work with. We are happy with our lanai and highly recommend MUT for any construction projects."

"Merrell was a very nice guy who came off as able to do just about anything. After we signed a contract and the work started, first payment made, we started to notice he had bought material far in excess of what was needed (insulation, tile pieces, sealant). Additionally, he was very wasteful with buckets of mortar. He also rushed work as in trying to seal grout before it had fully cured. In regards to his wood work, I am looking at a fireplace mantel with several uneven cuts. He never completed the framing in of the bathroom window so will need to hire someone else to do that. He had us schedule the shower glass people prior to his completion so they were unable to measure and had to come back another day. Most days he worked 4 hours or less, so lots of disruptions. Help from the homeowner was needed on several occasions, though he didn't ask for it but he was getting bogged down. In the roughly 100 hours he spent on the projects, there was a lot of down time. His crew was working on another project that seemed to be a distraction for him. Overall, the projects are now left unfinished and looking for another contractor to reliably complete them."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Fernandina Beach, FL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
