"Everything went extremely well. We wanted to finally install central air to our older home, so we called around and got several estimates. The salesperson Tom Kelly, that came out was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions and explained several options. After the estimates were done, we decided to go with Jimmy Gusky based on the reviews and the presentation Tom had given. The estimates from all the companies were somewhat all around the same price, And we didn’t want to go with the cheapest estimate. Initially we were only looking to have central air added onto the furnace, but on installation day, one of the installers brought to my attention that there were small cracks in the heat exchangers of the 20 yr old furnace. Based on the potential of the furnace leaking carbon monoxide into the house, it was decided to just replace the furnace and get a new HVAC unit. The two men that did the installation were very experienced and knowledgeable. The new system looks and works great. I supplied my own Nest thermostat and they installed that as well. Kudos to the two installers who definitely knew what they were doing and took pride in their work. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely recommend them"

"I called at 8:00pm on a Tuesday night. The plumber came before 10:00pm as promised. He replaced a leaking shut-off valve and associated pipe within an hour. Cost was as quoted for one hour labor plus parts which were less expensive than expected. No extra costs for travel time or anything else. We will definitely use again."

A few things really stood out. 1) He did a furnace flue piper install that he could have charged us much more for if he had wanted to take advantage of us - but he was honest and we paid less than we feared. He also went the extra mile helping my wife and I through a warranty claim with the furnace company so that we did not have to pay extra part costs. It was an unexpected need, but he was prepared with the part and worked with the manufacturer to get us covered. He was even able to better a previous repair. 2) On a home humidifier install, he made himself available on short notice, took time to answer our questions, and then showed us how to maintain the equipment ourselves so we wouldn't need to shelve out more for additional contracting work - even from him. "They replaced my leaking Poly water line from the street to the house with a new copper line. They tried to pull the new line through but were unsuccessful so they eventually had to trench through my yard to install the new copper line. In order to do this, they did have to cut through my concrete driveway which I had to get patched. After some adjustments were made with the new water pressure valve the system works great."

"I hired a plumber through HomeAdvisor using prepay but I would not recommend this service. The contractor left a leaky pipe that caused water coming up through carpet. I had to purchase a wet vacuum to dry out the carpet. I had to contact HomeAdvisor again and hired Dave the Plumber, LLC who had to redo the installation done previously. Dave the Plumber replaced all the piping and outside spigot because of a water leak the previous contractor left. Thank you Dave the Plumber for being a professional and a job well done."
