"Most comprehensive, professional & quality work ever done on our home. Deck stairs now rock solid after replacement of cleats. Mike cured water intrusion in breezeway ceiling & repaired rotted joists/beams & beadboard planking. Two of our interior stairwells needed banisters, which Mike had fabricated to match others in our 1932-built home. Finished items were outrageous. Not the lowest bidder, but worth every penny to have every service completed on schedule & PERFECTLY!"

"I needed a lot of work and repairs done in my house. I called and met with Harvey about what I wanted to be done in my home, and two days later, the work was being conducted on my house. The significant items were that I needed new basement steps, and Harvey and his crew rebuilt all the steps and railings. I had my bathroom grouted, caulked, and repaired. I needed my kitchen to be refreshed and a new kitchen floor. In addition, the kitchen, dining room, lower and upstairs hallway, and living room were in need of repair and needed to be painted. I had my entire windows repaired and corked from the inside and the outside. Harvey and his men were very professional, polite, and extremely hardworking. They showed up every day on time and worked diligently through the day. Harvey offered good ideas and suggestions on my home improvements and repairs. I was thrilled by the outcome and the quality of their work. I would highly recommend them, and I plan to use them in the future."

"Diego was hired for a specific task which he was really good at. His quality of work and professionalism motivated me to hire him for other repairs and the results were truly amazing. I'm glad I was able to connect with the right guy who does a great job at a reasonable cost. Thank you!"

"Wilber's is excellent and went above and beyond what we contracted the company to do. Got three quotes from different vendors and Wilber's had the most competitive pricing. The job manager, Eric, was excellent at communicating about the work and steps needed to complete the job. Wilber's even helped to order the doors that they needed to install from a local vendor they recommended. You could not ask for more in terms of craftsmanship, communication, and consideration. For example, the workers even returned after the job to clean up an inconsiderate bird that treated my newly painted white house like a personal toilet. I would recommend the company to anyone in NJ looking to do work on their home."

Customers say: Quality work

"John and his crew did a thorough and professional job in turning our crumbling old bathroom to a shining focal point of our house. He understands our needs and ideas for the new bath, then managed to give us a few nice surprises only an experienced professional can offer. The crew also cleaned their workplace and hallway -- completely and every day -- after their work. That was very nice and impressive, too. One thing I would like to mention is that John does not impose his ideas on us, but manages to make the outcome better based on our initial thinking. When you spend more than $10K for a major renovation, I believe it is important that the project is done to your satisfaction at first before it becomes just another showpiece for the contractor himself. In conclusion, I would say it is nice to be able to enjoy a brand new bath after suffering for months... And of course, John can show off whatever he did for us to his new customers. It is a nice piece of work, why not?"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Glen Ridge, NJ

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
