"Level Headed Mudjackers was super! Sam, Marty and Dale were very prompt getting me a couple of estimates and adjusting what was covered, following up several times to answer questions I had. Sam and Marty who did the actual mudjacking were fantastic... on time, very pleasant, and fun to bounce questions off of. They cleared lawn overgrowth by the sidewalk slabs, and made my driveway a dream when pulling into the garage now. No more bumps and tripping hazards from all the unevenness. Shoveling show now will be a breeze. I would rehire them in a heartbeat if I needed anything more done! Thank you guys for a job well done!"

"Jeremy was very knowledgeable and kept us informed every step of the way. He was a pleasure to deal with...we are still waiting on the stones to be dropped in the drainage area but weather has been an issue but the asphalt job looks wonderful. Overall extremely please and will definitely use them again when the next section needs to be replaced. I highly recommend!"

"These guys did a fantastic job. We had some significant sinking on our driveway and were listing the house for sale. They came out and fixed everything up marvelously. I could not believe how smooth the driveway was when they finished. Would absolutely work with them again."

"For the most part, I was happy with them. They were flipping the house next door to me and that was how I knew about them but then I saw them on your site. There was just one thing. When they rebuilt my porch, there were a couple of boards that were higher than the others and they said that they would come out and fix it but of course I had to wait for them. But otherwise, they were a nice group of guys. They seemed to be very professional and I was impressed with the work that they were doing next door. They were hard workers and they did not let up. They were very friendly and their pricing was pretty fair but the boards were noticeable right away so to me, it should have been replaced right away. They had a lot of jobs going so it was a little difficult to get a hold of them sometimes but when they were working on my job, they were here on time. I possibly would use them again in the future although now that I have found another contractor, I would certainly lean towards him. They are not a bad company, it is just that the other contractor is better."

"Everything went great.  Very friendly and explained the whole process when he gave me a quote.  Talked about water flow and pitch and gave his thoughts on how to fix.  When the work was performed, I came home from work and it looked great almost like it was brand new (being level and raised where it had sunk in over the years).  I was not expecting it to look that good because of the age of the sidewalk.  No more trip hazzards.  My wife and I are very happy and we would definately use them again. <br />"

"Everything went very well. My husband did the prep work they requested (removing paneling and drywall to 18 inches above the floor, cutting the wood studs to that level, and removing carpeting to six inches away from the wall). Two workers from Badger Basement came to our house and were completely done in only two hours. They jackhammered out the existing concrete slab, installed metal channels in the wall to drain any moisture out beyond the foundation, installed a sump pump in the room's closet, and poured fresh concrete to fill the new trench. All work done very professionally and thoroughly."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Grafton, WI

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
