"Jay is a good guy BUT after he replaced our gas line with a larger one it fixed the problem for two weeks. My generator has not been able to start since about July 25l. I have called Jay. I have left messages for Jay. NO RESPONSE. I resort to writing a bad review of him hoping that will get him to call me and come back. I am rooting for Jay because I want him to do, what I paid him to do: make my generator reliable the way it was for the first four years or so. Thank you for asking me what I think rather than just how I would rate him etc without asking why. John A; Fiske, a mediator of family disputes."

"They came out on a Sunday and didnà  à  à  à ¢à  à  à  à  à  à  à  à  t charge an emergency fee. There was water coming from the bathroom down to my kitchen below. He was able to see where the leak was coming from and repaired and replaced some shower faucet parts. He left everything cleaned up and stopped the leak in four hours."

"Seemed pretty inexperienced (although not sure that is unique these days given staffing shortages). Didn’t really understand the ask about the bathtub drain being clogged. Did correctly fix the shower issue, but when they replaced the fixture they didn’t screw it in all the way so the next few showers let a lot of water into the wall until we realized and fixed. Overall did the job and came in reasonable time but seemed to be very new to the job."

"MIke repaired a broken water pipe at our camp. Pipe was in a cramped crawl space, burst after an extreme cold snap. He was available within 2 days after the call, showed up on time, and performed the repairs quickly. It was obvious he has many years of experience and is very competent. I would hire him again for any future plumbing work."

"I asked for a rep to come to give quotes for repair or replacement of my gas boiler. Before he came the old boiler failed, and Heritage was able to quickly install a new one so that we without heat and hot water for only a short time."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Groveland, MA

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
