"I was given a free estimate. Services were performed and no extra was charged to me. They even came back couple months later to replace pieces around my front door after it was replaced and those pieces had been damaged. They only charged me 100.00 total for that service. I rehired them in 2013 after a hail storm messed up several areas. Again they came out quickly and had it repaired within 2 days. My quoted price was exactly what I paid each time. They are friendly and trustworthy."

"1) He showed up about the time he said he would. <br /> 2) Surveyed the situation and gave me an estimate; I needed more done and he gave me another estimate. <br /> 3) Started the project the same day. <br /> 4) Finished the project the next day. <br /> 5) Came back and spoke w/me to show me the finished work before I paid him. <br /> ******************************** <br /> I'd been having some trouble getting new doors for the shed (one had blown off in the storm just before Thanksgiving). I spoke with one contractor and was given an estimate, but he made me uncomfortable. <br /> I called another contractor who set a time to come out and didn't show. <br /> I called the first contractor back (to do the work, not to discuss it again) who set a time, but did not show. <br /> I called Shawn Owens. I was please that he was able to start right away and that the project was finished the next day. He did what he said he would do and more. He introduced me to the person who would be doing the job and did a couple of things that had nothing to do w/the job. <br /> His price was lower than the first estimate I'd been given and he did more work than the first contractor had said he would do. <br /> I waited to write a review because I wanted to see my brother's reaction to the new doors. He was happy with the job and happier still with the help Mr. Owens provided. <br /> Bottom line: He did what he said he would do (and more) in a timely fashion at a better price than I'd been quoted by another contractor <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Lawton, OK

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
