I called the next Monday and was told oh, you need a new water heater. Johnny Gavilan from Preferred Home Services checked a couple things and found our expansion tank was bad. He did warn us there still could be a problem with the water heater but at least he checked first. If we need the water heater replaced, our expansion tank will be new!"

"Mr. Hollis arrived when he said he would. It was a late afternoon call. I asked for a quote to make the repair. Mr. Hollis gave a fair quote for the work to be done and stuck to his quote after he finished. There were no surprise charges. When he arrived, he started working on the toilet. He kept his area clean while he worked. There was not a lot of tools or trash scattered around. His work was professional. He also had a professional attitude and answered all questions. "Life Savers!! We live in an older house with a very small bathroom. We had a home inspection recently and were altered to some major subfloor, sill and joist damage. We knew it was in rough shape but the inspector used terms like “100% moisture and “previous repairs poorly completed”. I called a few other contractors and remodel companies that started to throw around some huge numbers and timelines to make the repairs. The consensus from them was the tub would have to be removed before they could do any subfloor repairs. In a house with one shower that wasn’t really an option for us. The quote arrived the same day and was extremely reasonable. They got us on the schedule right away (11/20) and on the day of the repairs Nick and his crew arrived on time and were very professional. The job was scheduled for two days but they completed it in one and did a great job. We no longer have to worry about falling through the floor. They also provide a follow up inspection in 90 days and informed us of a couple other minor leaks that were noticed while completing the repairs. Our National termite control company had told us we needed some remedial work. The Crawlspace rep quoted me a price that day which was about 1/2 of the termite company for the same general work scope. I said to go ahead. Completely satisfied with the service."

"The workers were outrageously good. The guy that did the estimate was under what it should have been and it cost us double the amount, but the guys who did the work were fabulous and made it work. It cost more, but the basement does not have a smell or anything, so I can't blame them for it. They were done in a week. I was embarrassed, there wasn't a speck of dirt when they were done. It was clean as a whistle, and it wasn't like that when they walked in. They were really good. They recommended an electrician, and so even if they didn't do some part, they support you and help you find them. They check up and make sure everything is okay. They call back every time you call them. They did a great job."
