"Justin White, owner of Household Solutions was very knowledgeable and accurate with the estimated project cost.  He was late to arrive only once, and called well in advance to advise me of his tardiness.  His excuse was reasonable.  He did stay well after quitting time that particular day to complete his work. <br /> <br /> His work is impeccable, his crew respectful and hard working, the project was completed on time and the clean-up was done without a trace of his crew ever having been on site."

"I don’t usually write reviews but I felt it necessary this time. Calahan Construction has come through in the clutch for the second time with my A/C repair. (2 different houses) From here on out Calahan Construction will be my FIRST call. I tried to give opportunities to friends of friends and gotten burned both times. Each time Mr. Calahan has come through to clean up their mess! In both situations previous repair companies offereoptions of new units or extremely high price repairs. Mr. Calahan provided me with pictures and a detailed explanation of my problem and did repairs at a fraction of the cost! Extremely professional and efficient service! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone in the DFW that need a/c work completed!"

"This job only took two days, even though it was a large roof. The workers did a very good work, and the resulting roof is attractive. However, they did another thing for us that we appreciate even more. We have had trouble with the roof leaking around the chimney ever since the last roof was installed some ten years ago. The original roofers tried unsuccessfully to fix it a couple of times, and we hired two more roofers over time who were also unable to fix it. I told Mr. Barnett about the problem, and he looked carefully at the chimney and flashings before deciding what  to do. Then he purchased special materials just for that portion of the roof. The result was, we had a fierce rainstorm yesterday that would have drenched the interior wall of the chimney before.  This time the bricks remained dry; the drywall ceiling did not get soaked or even dampened. We are overjoyed to have this annoying and potentially catastrophic problem fixed at last!  <br /> Two more  things I'd like to mention--When Mr. Barnett came to do his estimate, we showed him a torn shingle on the roof of our shed and asked how much it  would be to fix that. He immediately got his ladder so he could look at the problem, then got a few supplies and fixed it at no charge. This was of course before he even knew if we would hire him for the big roofing job!  <br /> The second thing is--nails! We have dogs who seem to have very eclectic appetites. We've had to have the vet remove rocks, Nylabone fragments, chewed up bedding, sticks, and  other detritus from various parts of their digestive systems. They have never eaten nails, but they've also never had an opportunity to do so. We were worried they might decide to taste-test the ones left in the yard or else get them in their paws. The roofing workers must have collectively spent two or three hours going over the ground to remove nails, without making a single complaint about it. <br /> In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend this firm to other customers. They were competent and easy to work with, and the roof is beautiful! <br /> <br />"

"Mr. Dante did a great job, everything was fixed quickly and it looks amazing, he even went to Home Depot and found matching grout. I'm very pleased with his work . The only thing I didn't think of was covering the kitchen before he went to work and ground out the old grout, which turned into a fine dust coating everything in the kitchen. I only wish he'd warned me about it, and I didn't think to ask. That was the only hiccup, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for quality repairs to tile! <br />"

"Five Stars Mr. Broussard is an expert General Contractor. I have known his company for 10 years. An Insurance claim brought him to our home 10 years ago. On this 2020 remodel project, every specialized workman or work woman that he scheduled and sent to our home to complete a task, was the best in the business. He monitored the remodel personally from the onset to the finished room. I could not have asked for anything more. I would hire him again."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Little Rock, AR

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
