"The Admiralty chimney crew arrived a little early for the appointment (which was fine). Both gentlemen were wearing masks, as was I - an important detail in the current environment. They did an inspection of the flue and then after covering the area around the fireplace with a tarp, they brought in their equipment and began the cleaning process. Within a short time, they were done, removed their equipment, and we settled up the bill. Overall, the process was punctual, professional and efficient. This was not the first time I've used the Admiralty service and it will definitely not be the last."

"John and his team were excellent throughout both projects. We needed a new roof since it was over 20+ years old and the exterior house paint was over 12 years old and needed a lot of carpentry work. We also wanted a fan installed in our attic. Our chimney also needed trim work done. Our expectations were exceeded. John unlike other contractors at first meeting went up to our roof and inspected what was going on. We found out that we had 3 layers of shingles on our house as well as no flashing. The roof looks fantastic and fan installation went great. The painting of our house was meticulously finished. And to compare to our last painter who took only 1 day to paint an entire house, John’s team took over 3 whole days to complete priming, painting, caulking and carpentry work. "The project went very well. Their service guy called in advance to confirm the appointment, called to confirm his arrival time and arrived on time. He took care with his equipment, acted professionally, asked questions and listened well, and took great care with his ladder to be gentle with our house. He also took pictures of the damaged and rusted chimney cap so I could see the extent of the damage (since we can't climb to the roof). He was efficient and finished the project in less time than quoted. Finally he checked in before leaving to walk through his work, answer question and what to look for in case of future problems."

They did a more thorough job than a company we had out a month before and they pointed out that there was a lot of creosote build up missed. They ran into an issue with the ash door installation because we have a weird chimney that doesn't go all the way to the ground. They fixed the miscalculation with no additional cost to us and it looks great. We discussed installing a new liner and repairing some of the stone at the peak of our chimney in the spring. We were quoted a much higher price but once we removed the wall and they had access to the area they were going to be working in, we learned that they could use our original pipe that connected our furnace to the chimney. All they needed to do was install the liner and this saved us several hundred dollars! "Started a little slow, but this is their busy time of year - once it got going, it went very fast. Derek and his crew were very courteous and professional. They laid down tarps not just in front of the fireplace, but all the way to the door! The sweep they performed before installing the fireplace was the best ever.
