"This is the second time we've had the opportunity to use D&T Appliance and continue to be impressed with their service. Between the time of troubleshooting and the actual repair, the refrigerator continued to deteriorate. When Andrej, the service man, arrived for repair, I informed him of the additional problems. As it turned out the problem went from a solenoid issue to a main circuit board. Andrej quickly found that his supplier had the part in stock and immediately drove to the shop. Lo and behold he got the part, installed and checked it out and saved us from having everything in the refrigerator from spoiling. Sunday received a text message setting up a virtual video chat for noon on Monday with an Omega Master Technician. The technician was able to correctly diagnose the issue and contacted an Omega Force repair technician in the area. The technician (Nate) arrived around 2:00, replaced a defective control board in the refrigerator and by 2:30 the refrigerator was once again cooling. Nate was courteous, professional and personable. "I was visiting MPLS from a different city to help a relative who now needs assistance. With many tasks to do, and very limited time to accomplish them all, I needed a handrail installed. It quickly became apparent that I didn’t have the time to do it myself. My time in the city was rapidly coming to an end. "My fridge died & finding someone to come out the same day was quite a challenge. - The 1st guy I hired came out & told me 10 days for the replacement part. - The 2nd company would come the next day during a long wide window of time and would charge me for the service call + part/labor IF they could locate the part. - Then Pat from DunRite called me. He asked me to send him the model #, just to see if he could locate the part before moving forward with the other guys. 10 Mins later he tracked it down at 2 separate places.
