"I contacted Ben when I had 2 skunks spray my dogs in several early mornings, and noticed, they were under my home. Ben was very professional and arranged a contract to trap the skunks and repair the old, damaged wiring. My efficient friendly professional worked was Caleb. Over the next 2 weeks he successfully trapped those 2 skunks in a human removal method. He then repaired all of my damaged crawl space wiring. It is all sealed up. No more skunks living under my home. I highly reckoned TriCounty Trappers!"

"I couldn’t have higher praise for Renee and his team at Aesthtic Wildlife Control. We had a mother raccoon and her 3 babies in our attic After contacting our existing pest control company and multiple other pest control companies we were unable to get a but one quote for removal of the raccoons The one quote we received was in the thousands of dollars. When I spoke to Renee he quoted me a reasonable fee which was a fraction of what I was quoted by the other service The job required more than the work and took considerably longer than expected because of the location the raccoons had decided to nest. Renee stuck with it and was able to get the raccoons out of our attic. He was incredibly communicative and professional throughout the process. The final bill was less that expected and tiny amount compared to what I had received from the other service. I could recommend Renee and his team more. They were professional, thorough and humane "

"Perfect. When you work with someone who has a passion for their what they do, it makes a big difference. They did a great job, left no mess (and no bees). I'm glad the bees will live on somewhere else and continue to pollinate fruits and flowers in our area."

"This company was one of few I've come across who are aware of the dangers of having not only rats/mice, but also bats in a home. They know bats carry histoplasmosis and shed it in their feces, which can cause mental and physical illness, even in otherwise healthy people. Some bat websites encourage people to "live harmoniously" with bats in your home, workplace, and/or in your palm trees. Trust me, NO ONE will "live harmoniously" with bats in their building, because disseminated histoplasmosis can cause focal neurological deficits, which can cause (among other things) "rage without provocation." My workplace had an outbreak from roosting bats, and it was AWFUL! In addition to things like leukemia and schizophrenia, it can cause things like autoimmune symptoms and symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease, etc. It also can result in a positive ANA titer, so if you're given an immune-suppressing drug like Prednisone while infected, only your god can help you, because your doctors won't. They CAN'T, because almost no doctor understands DISEMMINATED histoplasmosis, especially in immunocompetent victims. There's a reason people came up with the term "batsh#t crazy.""

"An unanticipated extra expense, but they removed all attic insulation and pumped in new insulation with 3X the protection. Closed up all possible entrances into house; made three trips. So far, no signs of these pests, but they say call anytime if I see signs. I'm moving and I can't -- with good conscience -- sell this house to others knowing it had rodents, although it didn't seem to bother the people I bought the house from."

"Well, after fighting these gophers 4 times, Catch came out and gassed and poisoned them again. I'm hoping for a good result this time. I think the trick is constant monitoring of this lawn, which will be done. I was unaware that these gophers can migrate through freeways from the neighbors."

FAQs for bird and bat pest control service projects in Montebello, CA

You're likely to find nesting birds in external areas such as your gutters, eaves, porches, and chimneys. Some birds also nest in less obvious spots, like attics or even in your ventilation systems if they gain access. A reputable pro will conduct an inspection before starting any work to check for evidence of where birds may have set up roosting or nesting sites in your home.

Leaving birds to roost and nest on your home creates significant risks that affect both your home's structure and your well-being. The constant droppings, aggressive swooping, and persistent noise can damage siding, allow moisture intrusion, and stain exterior finishes. In addition, the birds’ pecking and droppings can spread diseases and parasites, which can lead to escalating repair costs and health hazards.

Yes, humane removal is possible and ensures that birds remain unharmed during the extraction process. Experts use proven methods to safely capture and relocate both birds and their nests to secure environments. Professionals employ stainless steel spikes as a deterrent while avoiding harmful techniques such as poisons or glue traps. You can rely on trusted specialists who strictly use safe, noninjurious methods, thereby protecting the birds while resolving the nuisance.

Yes, there are legal considerations when removing birds and their nests. You must adhere to strict local and state regulations, which safeguard protected native species during nesting season. Special authorization is required to remove protected birds, their nests, or eggs under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Observing these legal mandates avoids violations and ensures safe, responsible removal.

To prevent birds from returning after nest removal, you can implement deterrent methods. Installing stainless steel spikes creates a secure barrier that prevents birds from roosting without causing injury. In contrast, loose nets may entangle birds and other wildlife, creating additional hazards. A trusted professional will choose and install the optimal method to keep your home bird-free.

A bird’s nest remains viable for a period that depends on the species. The construction phase concludes within 2 days to 3 weeks, followed by a rearing stage lasting 2 to 10 weeks. Most birds become fully independent within 2 to 6 weeks, while certain predatory species require up to 2 1/2 months. This timeline can guide you on when it's safe to intervene.
