I had clearly explained the scope—replacing 10-12 standard switches with smart switches giving model number/spec—and was hoping for a lump sum proposal, but they only offered hourly rates, which is understandable. They estimated it would take about 2 hours, but the job ended up taking over 4. While they mentioned having done similar installations before, they spent quite a bit of time reviewing instructions on site, which added to the time and cost. The final bill was over $800 for a couple switches, including a service fee and $10 for wire connector? (The switches come with connector) Just a heads-up to others: be sure to ask detailed questions about hourly charges and how time will be managed, especially for smart device installations."

"Worst electrician ever, He took my 650$ deposit and never finished the job, He don’t know how to take old wire out and put new once and when we provided solutions he becomes furious and cursing us and told us you don’t know codes and all , well honestly we checked and actually he didn’t know codes and try to rip us off for more money in the name of codes , so do not hire him and if you do by mistake then make sure you bargain the price he provided because he is also very overpriced."
