"This company is terrific! Excellent communication throughout and completed the job on time. Javier was so helpful up front offering suggestions for those things I wasn't sure about and gamely going along with my somewhat unusual requests. Diana was great with end of day check ins with me to make sure everything was going smoothly. I plan on asking them to do future projects for me."

"We hired Renken to replace a shattered glass shower door. Justin showed up right on time. He was very professional and friendly. He knew exactly what needed to be done and worked very efficiently and effectively. He ensured all the glass and debris was cleaned up. We highly recommend Renken, and particularly Justin, for any remodeling and/or repair job. "

"I hired this plumbing contractor to insulate the plumbing he had re-piped earlier due to a flood that occurred right after I bought my house. Steven Rodberg rerouted the plumbing through the attic, which led to a persistent issue. I asked him to return and insulate the cold water line from the main supply throughout the attic to all faucets. Despite this, the water from my kitchen faucet still runs at 96 degrees. After paying him $6,675 for these repairs, I found out he never insulated the kitchen's water supply, and the temperature remains unchanged. He has since become unresponsive to my calls, texts, and emails, ignoring numerous messages and emails I sent to address this issue."

"Lucas' crew came, started and completed the job when promised. We were not at home during the process as removal of the "popcorn from the ceiling is a very messy job. Lucas cleaned up well afterwards and left our little villa looking MUCH BETTER! Thanks for such a professional job."

FAQs for bathtub installation and replacement projects in North Palm Beach, FL

Most tubs last an average of 20 years, or closer to 10 to 15 if they’re acrylic or fiberglass. If you’re seeing persistent leaks, cracks, stubborn stains, or mold that won’t scrub away, it’s time to start shopping for a replacement. Out-of-date features and visible water damage are other red flags. Swapping the tub now protects your bathroom from bigger (and pricier) repairs down the road.

You should install your tub in a location that complements your bathroom's layout, plumbing connections, and personal preferences. Consider placing it near existing plumbing to minimize installation costs. Many homeowners position their tubs to take advantage of natural light or scenic outdoor views, enhancing relaxation.

Ensure there's sufficient space around the tub for easy access and safety, especially if accessibility is a concern. Ultimately, the ideal spot is where the tub fits seamlessly with your bathroom design and provides the most comfort and convenience for your needs.

Replacing a bathtub takes just one or two days if you hire a pro to handle the job. They'll remove the old tub and install the new one efficiently. If you're considering doing it yourself, be prepared for it to take much longer, possibly up to a month. That's because you'll need to remove the old tub and drywall, install the new tub, repair the walls, and maybe tackle new tiling. Weigh the time commitment against potential cost savings to decide what's best for you.

Converting your tub to a shower transforms your bathroom with a modern and accessible design. The average cost to convert a tub to a shower ranges from $2,000 to $10,500, based on the required plumbing, tiling, and structural modifications. This upgrade maximizes space while boosting functionality and aesthetics in your bathroom.
