"Hired Bay State to take out my old bathtub and shower and replace it with a new walk-in shower. Fabio, the installer, and Daniel, his helper, were excellent! Very professional, efficient and took an eye sore of a bathroom and made it a gorgeous place to take a shower in now. From the beginning, everyone I dealt with were friendly, helpful and professional. Jim, the design consultant, helped us decide on what we wanted and how we were going to get it accomplished. The owner, Jen, was helpful in explaining some things we weren't too sure about and the girls in the office, Sarah and Destiny, were pleasant and patient as we had to re-schedule several times for various reasons on our own part. Bay State accomodated us at every turn. It's a rarity these days to find customer service like they have here. It was a bit expensive but you also get what you pay for. The craftsmanship was excellent and the product itself is top notch. It is MADE IN THE USA, also!"

I had a very small, dingy, claustrophobic shower (32" x32") in a very cramped bathroom (6' x 6') that was in desperate need of replacement. PBR took the time to understand my needs and the restrictions of the room and transformed the area. PBR coordinated all details of the project from getting permits, to delivery of materials, and to scheduling the plumbers, floor installers, and electrician. "After extensive research into all of the options available, I decided to have my kitchen renovation done by John Dolan. The kitchen design phase went well and all of the decisions I made (with the advisement of John, Caroline or Lorraine) ended up working out well. Once the demolition started, I was very impressed by how careful the workman were in protecting the rest of my space and that of my neighbors. Not a single complaint by my negighbors - in fact, they had compliments for how unobtrusive the renovation went. The workmanship in every step of the renovation has been excellent with meticulous attention to detail. They removed a ceramic floor and replaced it with oak that matches perfectly with the light oak in the adjacent living room. I could not be more pleased and very grateful I decided to go with John Dolan."

"The house we bought had an existing, partially finished, unpermitted basement. We hired Crystal Renovations to re-do the space so it would be functional, more in line with our taste & permitted. They made the laundry room an actual room as opposed to a basement area with a washer & dryer, took down the drop ceiling & replaced it with a real ceiling, took out the 1984 glass block surround to the shower & replaced with drywall, repaired stairs going down to the area & laid new floor throughout. Pedro & his crew were incredibly efficient - the whole process took around 10 days. We were fortunate & they didn’t run into any unforeseen issues once all the demo was done, so the final cost was in line with what had been quoted & the modifications we agreed to. They transformed an ugly, afterthought of a basement into an entire new living space to our house that is functional & looks fantastic. We would definitely hire them again & highly recommend."

"Had a new Walk-In Shower installed complete with two shower heads, grab safety bars, accessories organizer shelf, and seat. This replaced the old fiber glass tub/shower unit. I still cannot get over the exceptional work performed by the two â hard workingâ installers. Everything they did, and I do mean everything was absolutely perfect!!! Great guys, professional and very helpful with any questions."

"Went ok, definitely not great. There were several areas that were poorly finished or incomplete. There were items installed incorrectly or installed without approval. The contractor often pushed back on homeowner requests. Currently the bathroom drywall is growing a fungus, toilet seat is falling off and unfinished areas remain. He says his work is guaranteed, but last time he was here to see the bubbling drywall fungus he told us to scrape it off and repaint it on our own."
