"Great! Guillermo responded promptly and communicated regularly through the bid, acceptance and work process. Very pleasant man. He helped us with ideas we had to make them work. He installed 4 gates (1 iron, 1 chain link, 2 vinyl), an iron picket fence along the back to keep the dogs in and keep the view open. A black chain link fence to close in a dog area and two vinyl gates on the street side to enhance the look and keep the dogs in. He texted before arrival and when he was leaving. Both Guillermo and his worker were pleasant, clean and made sure to take all the trash and leftovers with him. His work is quality and he worked fast - no leaving the job for another. "I called and left a message. I did not receive a response so after a week I called again and John answered. He recognized my name/request and said he was sick the previous week which was why he didn't return my call. He came to our home and I showed him the work to be done. He said we couldn't replace the sink without ruining the granite countertop so that project was scrapped. For the electrical and ceiling fan work, he said he was busy for the next two weeks and recommended we use Kevin at Shea Electric who he would pass our number on to. (I kind of got the impression he didn't want to do the work.) Kevin made an appointment to come out but after calling once to say he would be late, never showed up or called back (that was 4 days ago). I will enter the Shea Electric review under that company."

"Nice people, they claim to give a lifetime warranty including resealing seems or any problem at all. They showed up as scheduled, took a bit longer than expected. I was very happy with the way it looked when they were finished. Im still happy with the way it looks. After they left I noticed they had drilled a hole in my concrete walkway and pounded in rebar to mount a gate post but they didn’t plan it right and I believe they called the owner out who decided to put the post in a more suitable place. Unfortunately the cracked concrete with a flush cut piece off rusty rebar remains as an eyesore. After a month or two the gate post on the opposite side began pulling out of the stucco on the side of my garage. I took it apart to find they used cheep plastic anchors so i just went and replaced them with metal concrete anchors myself so its never coming out again. I figured despite the warranty id just get it done. Fast forward to present June 2019 and i noticed that 2 of the base plates of the fence are not fastened to the concrete on one end allowing them to swivel out of place when the neighbors gardener does yard work it pushes them out of place. I contacted Sonrise and was given a date two weeks away that they would show up but they could not give a time. Sounds stupid but fortunately I’m retired and can sit home all day waiting for them to show up because hey what else do i need to do right? never showed up. I emailed again and the Forman called and apologized said he’d be out the following Friday. Never called never showed up. I emailed again and its been a week and a half with no response. so much for that lifetime warranty. I am really happy with the way the fence looks but cutting corners on simple stuff has me a bit confused because when you say lifetime warranty to fix ANYTHING wrong. Well you’d expect no short cuts because then you’d have to come fix the problems ... Unless... you have no plans to fix anything at all. I don’t care to write a review like this but when you jerk a customer around then just ignore them what else is left to do?"
