The communication was excellent as well. We had a pretty good rain on the first day and his crew did not come out due to it being too wet to dig. Kevin contacted me ahead of time to tell me they would reschedule for later in the week. They held to that promise. Kevin met with me after the install and showed me how to work the control box and make sure all of my questions were answered. I held off writing this review until spring of the following year. I was really concerned due to the really cold weather that we had during the winter that I would have issues with broken pipes. I tested all of the sprinklers in March and everything worked great. I definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a quality irrigation system installed."

"The 6+ foot tall grass and weeds which had plagued the street edge were taken care of efficiently. All of the grass that was overgrowing upon the house was trimmed back. The grass, weeds, and trees that were encroaching upon the drive were trimmed and limbs removed. Two years worth of nature running its course had been alleviated near the house in four and a half hours by the Mickeys Lawn Care couple. All of my interactions with Mel had him showing concern for the state of the property and a desire to do more than what I was asking of him within the same estimation of cost. "Hard to tell what changes were made during the Tune-Up.  Our sprinkler system still appeared the same.  They may have tweaked or adjusted the rotor's direction of spray.  We did learn of a bad rotor and were provided the written estimate later. They also provided us a written audit listing an estimate for replacing one bad rotor ($50); a suggestion for moving another rotor ($100) and updating the sprinkler controller to a newer version ($185) for a total of $335 more.  We ended up doing the work ourselves by replacing the rotor (screwing it in) at a cost of $9.00 for the rotor and installing the updated Hunter Sprinkler Controller for a cost of $67.00. We ordered the controller from Amazon and installed it by removing the wires from the old one and installing the new one.   Wanted this company to check and replace [if needed] controller wiring on the outside of the home, but they were not interested in this work, so we knew we could swap out a controller box for that price.  Decided we would do the the work ourselves. <br />"

They actually came out on two days for this last service call because it entailed cutting into the wall. The house had been through a flood and so we needed different odd jobs done. They worked around my 94 year old mother that lives in the house. They were always polite, professional, and tolerant with her and I sincerely appreciated that. "Wonderful healthy plants, with a great selection. Excellent staff - knowledgeable and willing to talk to you. For example, we were interested in a Japanese maple tree. They asked for info on our yard and then recommended it would not work under the hot sun. We've enjoyed going there each time. Have made repeat trips. Easy to find. Have only been to main nursery, they have a tent nursery on Cache Road. Have not been there."
